Glowing reviews of the wide receivers room:
- Ali Jennings "was assertive on the field today with the firmness of his routes, and soft hands on various contested catches. He will greatly aid in the development of younger guys in the WR room."
- "The receiving corps a lot twitchier, faster," Said (LB Coach) Quinn
- Lots of praise for Tucker Halloway as well
Also this nugget:
Offensive Coordinator and newly appointed Quarterbacks Coach Tyler Bowen was assertive and EXTREMELY hands-on with the quarterback during the open period. This group brought the intensity all day.
Finally, on the QB competition, everyone looks fine, Drones made some really impressive throws, and Pop Watson "Impressed with his physical tools"

Jokes aside, it's refreshing to hear we have some speed at the skill positions. Also, sounds like Drones is definitely going to challenge Wells to improve on his touch and accuracy this season, which I think greatly benefits them both.
The WR room can't be worse than last year. We only had one WR that was any kind of a threat the whole season and that was Kaleb Smith.
It really was awful. The worst we've had in recent memory.
this is the part of the off-season where I start to believe that we might actually be good
I've been fooled so many times :(
Just enjoy this period of optimism where we don't have to play anyone and we just hear praise for how hard the team is working and how far they are coming along
Yeah. Unfortunately it turns out everybody else gets better in the off-season as well. After over a decade of mediocrity, I've finally accepted it.
Yea, I think we just need to be hoping for solid signs that we're moving in the right direction. Pry seems to do everything right off the field and is rebuilding state and regional recruiting. We need to be a little patient with Ws and Ls as long as we're moving in the right direction as a program.
I'm hoping we're 6+ wins good but we'll see.
