Virginia football ended its offseason workouts Friday morning and the Hoos marked the occasion by, once again, breaking a
rock paver. For those who don't remember, Virginia did the same ahead of last season, and ultimately lost to the Hokies 31-34 in overtime.

The rocks itself gets an 'A' for effort. The maroon-ish text either signifies the Hokies or implies it was whatever was on sale at Home Depot and Bronco bought in bulk. The mountains are and homage to mountains, because, 'Hell yeah boys, get after in the trenches like tectonic plates colliding'. It's an arts and crafts job worthy of a pat on the back and a 'Hey, at least you didn't set your house on fire'.
From breaking huddles with "Beat Tech" to thinking about beating Tech on the field and in the bathroom, this is a focus of UVA because it's been 15 seasons since the Hoos have beaten the Hokies. Related: Virginia Tech recently exceed 5,000 (5,354) straight days of Commonwealth Cup possession.
