Congrats to Birdman for leading the way at 5-1 last week. There was a goose egg on the board as well, but I'll protect the identity. So for those that forgot to pick, you didn't lose any ground, in theory.
On to Week 3. Limited ACC matchups this week, so branching out for a few of them.
****Remember to make your picks on CBS Sports!****
Louisville @ Pittsburgh (-2.5)
vs
Giving the nod to Pittsburgh here. DG is legit.
Florida @ Ole Miss (+14.5)
vs
Swamp Head??? No thanks...Going with Ole Miss.
Texas @ Texas Tech (+18.5)
vs
Does the old saying "Remember the Alamo" not mean anything to those in Lubbock? Pssst. They lost. Taking Texas here. Cool bar set up.
Florida State @ Miami (-11.5)
vs
J Wakefield is one of the strongest in all of Florida. Period. Taking Miami.
Tennessee @ South Carolina (+3.5)
vs
What's going to come out on top? The Crafty Bastard or the River Rat? Hmmmm. Coin flip. Going with SC, for the slippery factor.
NC State @ Virginia Tech (-6.5)
vs
While not a singular brewery, taking VT in this one as you can get whatever you want!!!!!
Beer of the Week:
Looking forward to a nice Saturday in September this weekend. And cracking one or two of these beauts.

Swamp Head is a really solid brewery, especially if you like coffee beers. Their Morning Glow Vanilla Coffee Lager and 10-10-10 Imperial Coffee IPA are two of my favorite beers.
River Rat is the best brewery in Columbia, hands down. Great hangout spot too. Watched the World Cup final there. Watched the Jags beat Pittsburgh in the AFC divisional round there. Joined their growler club when I was in Jax because I'd go out of my way to stop there on drives up to Danville/Lynchburg.

Tech...barely.
L'ville @ Pitt (-2.5) Pat goes nuts over some PI calls in an ugly loss
Florida @ Ole Miss (+14.5) Florida should win this comfortably
Texas @ Texas Tech (+18.5) TT have been meh and Texas look good for once
Florida State @ Miami (-11.5) I hate to pick da u but FSU are hot trash with no HC this week
Tennessee @ South Carolina (+3.5) Toss up but Tennessee should be good enough
NC State @ VT (-6.5) No explanation needed we should be able to score enough to win
Got a full case of Bass Ale to hopefully celebrate a week one win with this weekend
L'ville @ Pitt (-2.5) Louisville lost to Miami. Pitt has a couple wins. I think Pitt gets it done again
Florida @ Ole Miss (+14.5) I would imagine UF is probably the better team. Are they three scores better on the road though? First game of the season...anything can happen. I think it'll be closer than this.
Texas @ Texas Tech (+18.5) I think Texas will probably be able to score lots of points. Not sure if TT will keep up. Couple of big-time home underdogs this week though, sheesh
Florida State @ Miami (-11.5) If FSU wasn't so LOLZ at the moment I'd pick them. But, damn, they're bad.
Tennessee @ South Carolina (+3.5) I have no idea. But I hate Tennessee and the home team can't be expected to lose across the board now, right?
NC State @ VT (-6.5) I'm honestly not confident enough in our offense to put up enough points to win. If it turns into a shootout, though, the winner will probably only win by 3 or 4.
1-5.....again. I am not good at this gameedit: actually, I think I got 2....still not good though
tough week. Two of the games hit the spread exactly wrong for me (Pitt -2.5, won by 3 and UT -3.5, won by 4).

Why the F did i flip from Old Miss to Florida this morning?
Ok...so i spoke too soon on saturday. florida covered and the rest of my picks worked out pretty well.....😋🏈
haha. Yeah, that perfect bet slip is pretty rough.
Wish i actually had a bet on that...anyone know ballpark what kind of odds you get on a 6 team parlay against the spread? Gotta be at least 50-1 wouldnt it?
