Fuente Loves his JJ, we all should have know that from last year. plus he bailed him out of his troubles this spring. JJ wouldn't start for anyone else at the D1 level. Being hard headed as a head coach has cost VT last year and again this year. He don't have any choice but use one of the back ups, which they Didn't get much time with the first team offense. all on Fuente's head.
Fuente Plays a QB that can't throw or run , then expects his #2 to come in and carry the load. Willis did a great job AND should have been playing way before JJ got hurt. This One is on the Coaching Staff and Fuente for being Hard Headed and Not Pulling JJ. Even Last year he played him and it cost us a couple games..
If they can Go to Florida and practice for their game this weekend. Then honoring their contract shouldn't be a issue. Pay up, Shut Up or Quit playing the series ! I have gone to these games for years, Home and Away.. ECU it's Time to pay..
Bud and his Lunch Pail bunch came to Play. They did just that and I see they might just keep getting better. Our WRs and RBs show a lot of improvement from last year,plus the OL . I wished the QB and OC could , but Same ole same ole here in the first game..

I was a junior in high school. Fred B. played and was a All American. Went on to play for Oakland Raiders, Been many years a VT Fan.

Glad he left and got a chance to Play. Fuente seems to just pick one QB and sees nothing else. Last year was proof of that . I hope Hooker leaves, only way he will get a chance. Short of a major injury , JJ will play every game..

With 54 playing MLB, anything can happen. UNC will play to that weakness, watch and see. VT better plug up the middle and watch for a lot of QB draws.
Moto in the middle , be a tough bet. A wheelchair run play could get by him. I hope VT hangs a 50 on them !
Contact Sport seems to be 54's problem. He doesn't like Contact. Dodging or side stepping is one of his best moves, then show up after the tackle is over. Bud Loves Him.. Thank goodness he graduates this year !
Seen Coach Beamer last Saturday before the Game. Very cheerful and happy man. Always Frank Beamer. We as VT fans had a great man plus a Coach.
Willis is better than what we have seen in two year of JJ. His arm and quick release puts the ball in WRs hands. If given the right plays, Which VT seems to Lack, He can win more Games than JJ. Tired of people saying such things, He Hasn't Had a Chance at VT . Fuente locks in on His "boy" and hell with the bench !! Until VT gets a OC that can manage a game and fit plays to the QB and his strength. Then Forget about winning any big games..
