# | 2017 RB Jalen Holston Ready to Fill a Need for the Hokies as a "Home-Run Back" The young man looks very good, and VT sure will need him. and for those that think Peoples can't run or carry the Load, I got news for ya, He can if given the chance. Fuente likes him and I see him being in a lot of plays next year. Blocks well, catches the ball and will truck you if need be. Holston gives VT that Darren Evans type runner with more speed.
I have been a member for Years and didn't go to VT. I have supported VT since the late 60's and when they started Hokie Club and Season Ticket point system, I started giving to that. Before it was just donations to the scholarship fund. Nothing new for me But I hope all VT Grads will step up and support this 25 Drive ..

318 Club Seats, I got them thru VT ticket office. Cheaper, $135 , Belk $149 . This will be my fourth time for a game there . Never had a problem, it can be tricky getting back on the Interstate system but Every Hokie should go. Make it a Maroon & Orange night !
Until they have a Committee over seeing College Refs in all sports such as Football and Basketball and holding them accountable , there will not be just Officiating and calling the rules correctly. Start taking their money as in fines, game day pay IF you continue to Not do your job . Then the system will be better. Nothing is done to Officials , they get by doing What they have for years. Loss Of Money and Jobs will get things done. Bet On It, but the ones that gets the "breaks" knows this and will not want a Fair System. look no farther than the the the ACC

# | Fresh Off Facing UNC's Spread, Syracuse Presents Another Test for Virginia Tech's Pass Defense New era, Fuente and Bud , VT might not keep them out of the end zone but I see VT controlling the Time of procession and making some big plays. Hokies should cover the spread easily.

I see no different until Bud gets some good Lb's or changes the ones on the field. Sorry to say this but the middle is the way Lefty will go Saturday. Fuente will play the Best and the players that will get VT back in the ACC top teams, period. Plus Recruiting would take a big step by showing that he will play you if you are the best, no matter what class you are in. The future is very bright for VT under this Man. thank you Whit !

# | Developing Depth Still on the Hokies' Agenda as the Second Week of Fall Camp Begins Somehow, I think 2016 is going to be a special season for VT and Fuente. I think with all that has been done in the short time he and his staff have been in Blacksburg , we will see a stronger and better looking team that will hit the field this season. Change will be seen.

# | Virginia Tech Quarterback Dwayne Lawson to Transfer to Hutchinson Community College This has been Lawson's downfall. He never gave College football his full effort , sad but true. Lucky he wasn't gone before Fuente got here. Good Luck and I hope he gets things on the right track.
Everything about the WBB program and players is a great improvement from top to bottom. Solid hire here and VT should move out of the basement this year.
I would be a surprise for the Pulaski County Hokie Club. Been a Member for Many a Years. Never hear anything. Amazing I see things like this posted. I gave a Few Dollars too....
I had heard that Blacksburg was not his favorite place . Small towns are not meant for everyone.
I would be a fan on a ACC Network . This is held the ACC back for several years. Whose to blame ?

# | Justin Fuente's Offense Sputters in Spring Game, Despite Handful of Bright Spots I was there, Great Crowd of about 44,000 Hokie Fans. Offense was very limited and used all the QBs and most all of the RBs. I was impressed with a few young players in WR core. And Edmonds and Gaines had a good game. I didn't expect to see a lot because of the number Not playing and the offense being new . Fuente didn't plan on showing his Hand, I agree with that. Come Fall, I think Evans will be the starter and then the full crew will be high lighted. New era, Love the Future... Go Hokies

No way !! I didn't follow his articles when they where free and Care Less now. Roanoke Times has always had a negative view of VT over the years in their articles and Andy is no different. I live in the NRV and know first hand of the years of their articles. My wife gets the paper, Her choice, but I wouldn't care if they shut down. I can get all the VT sports news from HokieSports.com and Twitter, snapchat, TKP, Hokie Club website. plenty of places that don't have a Negative attitude in their articles. Bye...RT's and Andy !!
