If Shane Beamer can't see it from last year and after yesterday, It's not JC's fault that he is being played in front VTs best RBs. Shane Beamer's Fault , period. 757 area is what Shane is seeing and that would be the only reason I can think of for him to continue to play JC. Moorehead said it best when he put Ford as #1 WR . Something Shane can't or won't understand or see. Time VT played their Best RBs.
I sure Hope Shane Beamer Uses his best two RBs next week ! And it's not JC , only thing I seen wasted yesterday by VT, Not using their best and getting them playing Time. Great Game other than that.
Let me see If I got this correct, Thursday Night , Lane Stadium, the Costal Champ being the winner. Bud Loves these things ! Young Man will have a eye opener for sure...Go Hokies !!!!
A very great article on One of Best Coaches VT has ever had, that wasn't their Head Coach. I hope his dream job comes true...VT's Head Coach. Thank you again...
I hope Shane Beamer puts the Best on the Field ! Some times I wonder about that and his decisions ....

Buzz Way or HighWay ....I love the Buzz Way . VT has got a Coach that stands a chance to do Something We as Fans hadn't seen in Long Time if ever, Win big time.... In Buzz I trust.
IMHO, VT. The young man came last week to Blacksburg to get some questions answered and see the coaching staff . He left pleased . South Carolina came on strong here at the end. Now does the lure of the SEC come into play, we'll see. I think early playing time and our new OLC will make the difference , least that's my hopes. 6:20 PM , we cheer or we hurt. Either way, I'll still be a Hokie
Frank Beamer should have and could have had these numbers or been a lot closer to 300 If he had gotten his staff cleared out five or six years ago. I don't see him staying past 2016 , no matter where the numbers fall. I'm Beamer fan but Frank let his own self down.
Just Win some Important Games and show progress on the Offensive side and I'll be happy. 9-10 wins in the regular season schedule should make me real happy .
I have been a Hokie Club Member For many years . Dating back to the 70's when I first gave Donations to VT and very few years that I didn't . I'm Not a VT Graduate but Love VT and live in the NRV . My donation is in the $500 + range and has been for the last ten years . The reason I state all of this info is Because I think all VT Grads should Know about the Hokie Club and try and join and better Your College . I think the best source of Revenue is the Alumni and the Future of VT...Go Hokies
Would be talking about this If Buzz wasn't at VT. I think Not, Buzz has done more in three months for VT's Basketball than anyone has in ten years ! Give Whit , our new AD , a high five for getting VT heading in the right direction...carry on Hokie Fans.

Excellent article ! Thank You. I've been a VT fan for over 50+ years and I can't think of a Hire of this magnitude , To me , Dooley was the first big name VT ever hired. Buzz Williams is a lot bigger when it comes to the era in which we are in now. Our New AD may be biggest hire ever at VT as far as the future of sports at VT. Two big hires in less than three months really amazes me...Go Hokies . Now everyone Needs to back VT with their support ..
In Whit I trust ! It has been along Time since VT's AD came forward with a plan to Hire a person of Quality. I think VT couldn't have found a better person to be the AD of the future. I say his first hire will be a reflection of what he wants for VT and the future...Winners on and off the playing field .
IMO, If Whit finds the right Coach that meets his standard, JJ is gone this year. I think it all rides on who might be out there to come to VT. Our new AD is in a spot right out of the gates, VT needs a Change but the right hire also is important . This could be over by today or this weekend IF VT finds that right fit...If Not, 2015 .

The Edwards Family had a lot influence in John Dobbins coming to VT. He was one fast Tailback for Radford High School , when he got to VT, Claiborne put the weight on him , which took a lot of speed from John. Being from Radford and playing a lot of ball against his older brother and knowing John since he was a young man , VT couldn't have gotten a better person and player for their first Black Athlete at VT...
What you stated , covered it all. Sad but true .
When You hire Real Coaches, You get real results. These new coaches has made a mockery out of the three that was let go, as far recruiting goes. And what I seen out of the WRs and our Offensive last year , they can coach too. Dern shame Frank Beamer had to be forced into getting rid of his buddy and a bad OL coach to prove what real coaches can do. Sherman left on his own but his Replacement has lite up VT so far on both parts of his job. And Loeffler has done the same on getting quality players to VT in JUST one year on the job.
I have less Confidence in Shane Beamer to ever make the Right decision on the RB rotation. IMHO , he is not a RB Coach and wants to play everyone. Daddy should have made him the Special Teams Coach , He couldn't screw it as much as the ole man has in the last four years.. Rant over with .
