I live in Kill Devil Hills, work in Kitty Hawk - what kind of stuff you looking for recommendations on?

Pretty sure I'm making my second trip to Hawaii next summer. My dad grew up on the Big Island in various locations, Kona, Waimea, Kealakekua...about 13 years ago he wanted to show me and my sisters his old stomping grounds so he and my mom booked a house and told us, and our significant others', "you pay for airfare, we've got the house covered". Now, my son is about to turn 11, and my dad is ready to show him the area.

Last time we stayed in Kona, went kayaking and snorkeling at the Captain Cook Monument, went to Volcanoes Nat'l Park, toured a coffee farm, hit the green sand beach, bunch more. We packed a lot in. The countryside around Waimea is beautiful

I'm sure UVA could get DMB to let them use "Crash Into Me" for their football entrance

I fully trust that Whit will follow the examples laid out by teams currently having success in this new landscape of college football...about 26 years after everyone else

Slightly OT, but there are so many new names on the Roster (with various levels of eligibility), it's near impossible to keep any track of at this point or have any realistic projections going forward beyond just this year.

Maybe that's intriguing for some but, for me, it makes me much less engaged and invested in following.

Between that, and the product we've been putting on the field for the past decade, it's tough

Eh, I'd have to disagree, if we break it down:

Liberty University is also a major bankroller of the current MAGA party (This is not political opinion, this is documented fact) and heavily influencing a lot of the decisions (it is well known and documented that LU actively seeks to influence politics and public policy) that are currently being made to dismantle the DoE and funnel more of that money to private institutions (Indisputable fact that the current administration brags about, dismantling DoE in favor of private institutions). So yeah, the Saudi comparison is spot on (Saudi Arabia's Privitization Program is focused on providing the private sector access to gov't assets)

Just a few facts about Liberty University, and one about SA - nothing arguing politics, just "it is what it is" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Scrolling through that twitter page, pretty crazy to see the amount of work going in to getting the field ready for the concert, then imagining the amount of work that it will require to get it back ready for football. Metallica ought to be paying VT to come play there

As a card carrying member of the 40 and up crowd, I can confirm those bad boys are reserved for the 50 and up gang

Same. I watched the first 3, and couldn't remember much from before.

Going to have to find a season 1 recap, watch it, then watch the first 3 episodes of season 2 again
