I think it's obvious we would've crushed ND if Hooker played regardless of the horrifyingly rigged officiating.

That being said, I'm okay with keeping Hooker fresh for the ACC home stretch. Much more at stake coming up.

Pretty sure the fumble was on King, not Hooker. Hooker is the truth. Corny should be fired immediately for the jet sweep on the 4 yard line to boundary. Though, to be fair, after that horrible interception saved by the late hit, I wouldn't have been confident in Willis there either. So I guess Corny has a reprieve. We were so close to controlling that damn game. Regardless. Fugly.

Agreed. I think Willis is only playing cuz daddy is BFF with Shibest. Wasted year to get Hooker some valuable experience. I just don't think Fuente's offense is a threat unless we have a true running threat at QB. If Willis sees the field next year, I'm turning the TV off. Yeah yeah, whatever. Not interested in watching a dumpster fire.

Not sure why anyone thought we'd beat GT. We've never stopped that option even when our defense was good/experienced. We knew it was going to be a long day after their first drive and we knew it was game over when a routine fair catch doinked off of Savoy's face mask......and the game was still tied at that point.

I think this thread is blinded by the win. Willis played like garbage for about 95% of the game. Were we even watching the same game? I'll give him credit on the last drive, but I was demanding Hendon Hooker about mid-way through second and was pleased to see QP in there as well. Was hoping it would've been for the rest of the game though.

And wide receivers. Spiral is clockwise for righties, counterclockwise for lefties. Might not sound like much, but when you're used to clockwise, a counterclok zip from Vick might throw you off. But Vick threw it 300mph too, so...........
