Me: "Ha ha ha ha ha..."
*realizes I was a senior in 1997*
Fuck.
There is a strong positive correlation between how crazy Helena Bonham Carter acts and how hot she is.
A post on Reddit about Jar Jar blew my freaking mind. If you haven't read it yet, please invest the time in the Darth Jar Jar Theory.
He's talking over the course of the season, not in any particular game. We'll always have a few slobberknockers on the schedule. But on the whole, Fuente's offense should complement Foster's defense more than Stiney's or Lefty's did.
I saw what you saw. He was a competent Mike the last three games. I think a lot of people have convinced themselves of a narrative that it will take a spectacular level of play to alter.
Earlier in the season, Motu was not good. To be honest, I don't think he was ready, and that's a product of our recruiting failures at the position rather than an indictment of Motu.

I was just about to say, I hardly remember Motu being out of position at all over the last three games. I did notice him take some questionable angles, which I think might be an issue for him a while longer yet, but he was consistently where he was supposed to be down the stretch.
Love what GW did with their floor. That's an often overlooked component of an arena remodel.
Do you think Jaquan is good enough that we'd offer Joshua just to land him?
Fantastic analysis.
I was impressed with Motu over the last few games. I hope it's indicative of him taking the next step. We've all been harsh on him (and deservedly so) but I hope the end result is just tempering his steel.
You mentioned in another comment somewhere that Seth Dooley has regressed. Was the play of Mihota enough to make you think we'll be okay in a post-Dadi world?
I dunno about you, but I've gone into the last two years nervous about an upset.
The 6-3, 235 pound Sunshine State prospect
So, we're recruiting him to play DT then?
Leg for beating me.
To be fair, we were playing far below .500 ball in hoops when Buzz came in. We were last in the conference. Fuente is inheriting a MUCH better situation than Buzz walked into, the the degree that I'd argue our conference success next season hinges on how quickly the offense picks up Fuente's scheme. There are playmakers at every skill position, a host of new WR recruits coming in, and a three way battle for the starting QB spot with three very promising recruits going head to head. It's not like Fuente is rebuilding from scratch here.
If the ailment of our program was primarily cultural, as I believe it was, and injection of energy and enthusiasm like Justin Fuente brings might create a quicker turnaround than you are expecting.
Maybe scout. I'm pretty sure Rivals was 100% OLB on him.
The first time I ever heard anything about him playing RB was when it was announced that's where he was practicing, and I remember the conversation being about how we "moved" him to the position.
Sigh.
It's like Jayron Hosley all over again. Gone too soon. What might have been.
Godspeed, Kendall. You are about to make an obscene amount of money.
So basically the equivalent of, "You can't fire me, I quit!" Sounds about right.
Melbourne, Australia?
On paper, that looks great. In practice, imagine the shitshow that will commence if a team who gets that bid suddenly realizes their starting QB doesn't have a passport. I didn't have a passport in college, and I imagine several student athletes don't, either.
It's one thing when Notre Dame plays BC in Ireland in the regular season. That's set years in advance and the ADs have tons of time to make sure everything is kosher. A bowl bid well within the typical six week window for a passport is another thing.
Welcome to the clown college that is the Missouri university system right now.
That's odd. It opened up just fine for me on my computer when I posted it earlier and just now on mobile when I checked it. Should open to 247's list of 2012 VT commits, listing Trey as an OLB.
It definitely added to the discussion, we just got our signals crossed. Since the whole thing started with a reply to me saying he projected as a linebacker by the scouting services, I thought you were refuting that claim.
That bill is the biggest knee-jerk overreaction. So now, if student-athletes should strike, universities won't just have to forfeit a game or two while the strike lasts, but essentially the entire season, since, you know... all the players just had their schollies pulled. No scholarship players means no team, means no games. Either that, or they try to whip up a roster of scrubs real quick. I hear Scott Bakula has a hell of an arm.
I hardly think I was lecturing you. Your original comment was just ambiguous and I sought to clarify it.
You said he was always going to be a running back and was a four star. To me, I think the rational interpretation of that statement is that he was a four star RB recruit. My response was simply, no, he wasn't. He was a four star LB recruit. Both 247 and Rivals projected him as a LB and rated him as such, at four stars.
Would he have rated out at 4 stars as a RB? Maybe. We'll never know.

Makes me wonder about how we approach the dead period to day, versus how we approached it a few years ago.
Might explain some things.
