I kinda wish Joe would just set your downvote value at like -10,000 so it really is an instaban. If an established poster goes nuts, your -10 will only be good for blurring individual comments. It would take hours to take down someone with thousands of legs.

I don't know what to think.
...really?
No offense, but, what are the honest chances that ANOTHER user who was banned weeks ago tagged you on Twitter immediately after banning someone? You caught him in the midst of his troll rage cycle and he tipped his cards, and is now trying to backpeddle because he realizes he just told you guys to be on the lookout for his return.
There is absolutely no way that wasn't him.
So basically every troll on here has been the same guy? Well, except for Bender.
Well, yeah. I mean, this is the internet. But if we're flirting with 500 yards a game and someone ridicules our use of jet sweeps, I'm guessing the vocal majority here will rise up and collectively smack them down.
I believe it will fly as long as it's open to all student-athletes, under a "therapeutic/stress reduction" type claim. We can argue that's a bullshit justification (and it is), but they could at least put together an argument that the increased stresses of being a student athlete requires some place where they can blow off steam. But there is absolutely no way in hell this stands up if they honestly try to say only football players can use it.
I completely agree. But the fact that they're even trying to make this exclusive to the football players makes me wonder 1.) who the hell is calling the shots in the athletics department, and 2) where the hell are the lawyers, who should already advised them that they can't make it football-only?
And I'm not really sure why he spent all that time studying with the coaches. Seems easier to just upload the info directly into his positronic brain.
The exclusivity of the this facility to the football players is what will burn this to the ground. There is no way in hell this flies. It will at the very least get opened up to all student-athletes. Hopefully Clemson is smart enough not to contest things legally when the hammer starts to drop, because you're exactly right, this could be the tipping point in groundbreaking reform.
That part actually seems kind of pedantic to me. So you imported some goods for a remodel. Is that problematic? And that electronic track, I want that at VT yesterday.
Oregon built a really nice locker room and a track that will reap benefits for the S&C program. In my mind, what Clemson is doing here is categorically different.
We'll host one within 20 years. Book it.
They better be careful. Making this exclusive to football players is a perfect way to get slapped with a Title IX violation.
I'm guessing if we're posting Memphis-esque numbers, you won't hear a peep.
Looks like I know what I'll be doing on my lunch break. And lunch might last a couple hours.
This might be the best 'Foe'rensics yet.
In addition to watching Travon go over a thousand, don't forget to look for Isaiah Ford to do the same. Travon needs 39 rushing yards, Ford needs 63 receiving.
That was actually more of a comment about the NBC Sports channel.
getting excellent ratings lately on NBC Sports
Does not compute.
PS, if Google asks you, "Did you mean Tokyo sex whale?" the answer is no.
This is pulled straight outta my rectal region, but I'd imagine football, baseball, basketball, hockey, NASCAR and golf all pull better ratings than soccer. The World Cup is gonna get its numbers, but as for sustained interest in the sport, I doubt it.
The NCAA's problem is more incompetence than corruption. The NCAA makes so much money exploiting the archaic amateurism rules that they don't really have to be on the take in their business dealings.
soccer is like the 5th most important sport to the U.S. market
That's optimistic.

ESPNUSPolitics seems to be loaded with them.)
FTFTFY
Also important to note: professional=/=expert. There can be professional experts, and there can be amateur experts. There can also be professional blowhards. (ESPN seems to be loaded with them.)

He didn't say with what.
