THE Only Scoreless University?
After watching the game via the skycam feed, with no announcers, I can honestly say that's the best way to watch football. I wish that option was available every game.
Somebody downvoted this?
Have a leg to cancel it out.
You're right. The sky is falling.

I guess we'll just have to beat the fuck out of them in Lane next season.
Steal the Silence would be a great name for a band.
We're obviously missing the reactions during the first half, but holy crap these young men never believed it was over. I hope they can maintain that level of intensity and buy-in with a Rogersless locker room.
My hope is that he's the second coming of Dave Meyer.
Also, Fuente works hella fast.
At this point I'm just ready for signing day.
Well that sucked.
Are we 100% certain Cam is coming back for his senior year?
I'd love to see this backfire on him. He decides to go ahead and have surgery based on getting throttled by VT, whom he considers to be not very good. But it turns out he has a pretty good team this season and we're just legitimately better than them.
PSU fans on that thread have no idea how faulty their logic is. Consider:
- Proctor claims an offer from PSU.
- PSU fans on r/CFB are claiming that Franklin told Proctor in December that there wasn't room for him.
- Therefore, if we accept Proctor's report of a PSU offer as true, that means Franklin gave a top 100 recruit a non-committable offer.
There is no way you give a kid as highly rated as Proctor a non-committable offer. Either the PSU fans on r/cfb are full of shit, or Franklin is an idiot at recruiting.
I think collapsed threads still load in full, rather than loading when you expand the thread, so it wouldn't improve load time on mobile.
I might be wrong about that, though.
The ability to filter the tracker would probably go a long way toward solving this problem. Being able to include or exclude the recruiting forum (or any other forum) would allow users to customize their feed to be more what they are interested in. Not sure how hard that is from a coding standpoint.
I'd like to see Zach LeDay and Jerrod Evans get into an intense staredown.
I prefer Ron Cherry's "giving him the business" call
You might have overplayed your hand a little by saying our facilities aren't elite. Our football facilities are elite, and we're on pace to be elite across the board with the renovations in baseball and soccer that are taking place.
I think you might be getting elite facilities confused with the amusement park that Clemson is building. When we are talking about actual facilities, VT is right there with anyone in the country.
This.
I would love this to be the cornerstone of the argument that only conference champions should get playoff berths.
There is absolutely zero chance we aren't ranked after this win. I don't care how furious the Duke circlejerk is.
Seriously, don't panic people. We might need to restock next season and have an 8 or 9 win season, but who here doesn't believe we're in good hands with Fuente and Foster? Marathon, not a sprint. Best days are still ahead.
Let us not forget the Belk Bowl...
But holy shit if this stands up...
The more I think about it, the more I wonder how much of this might be prompted by concern over possibly regressing next season if both Bucky and Isaiah declare for the draft. He'd need to get in sync with a new crop of inexperienced receivers.
He has a very real.shot at being a top 10 QB in a much better QB class next, which will likely be the difference between 1st/2nd round money and 5th-7th round money.

That's more a result of Beamer's decision to NOT aggressively expand our recruiting footprint after the '99 season. We could have leveraged the Vick years into recruiting at a national level, but Frank believed he could win it all by owning the 757 and selectively recruiting Florida, Pennsylvania and NY/NJ. Once other programs started poaching the 757, our brand had lost the gravitas to make up for that by recruiting other hotbeds.
Fuente has immediately changed that strategy. We're pulling in recruits from a wider footprint. Fuente is using his ties to Texas and Oklahoma while utilizing Zohn Burden to establish inroads to the 757 that started to deteriorate in Beamer's waning years. The strategy has been modernized.
Where we are in recruiting is self-inflicted.
