I know that's not Chris Canty who used to come to Blacksburg every other year in the early aughts and get his ass whooped. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to put him in front of a mic? Let alone with one of the most obnoxious sports personalities there is

I can't say they really talked shit about VT.... To be honest he really didn't talk about anything outside of regurgitating a few common facts any casual sports fan would know.

What's funny was his criticism about how rich he would've been with the buy out money and stating "just take some time off".

That's awfully hypocritical coming from SAS considering he's likely ESPN's highest paid person and literally works/does appearances 24/7.

I also have thoughts on other things which may skirt TKP guidelines, but I find it very contradictory that SAS is criticizing CJF for taking a job when Stephen A. Smith has routinely expressed on his show (in the past, in the now, and I'm sure in the future) and is very vocal about the lack of black head coaching jobs in football. Yet, now we have one (and a very good one at that), but he expresses how he is effectively a lame duck coach with no potential and should just fade away into the sunset and avoid doing what he loves.

What a tool.

Josh Gattis was only good as a Playcaller when he had Connor Stalions giving him the Defensive playcall before every play. He rode blatant cheating to a Broyles Award.

Since that he has failed quickly and been fired just as quickly at Miami and Maryland.

Zero interest.

Stephen A. Smith knows absolutely zero about Football, particularly CFB. They try to shoe-horn him in their NFL coverage and he sticks out like a sore thumb.

Chris Canty is a Hoo.

Long story short: neither of these opinions mount to a hill of ant shit.

If Stephen A is hating on it that just cements that it was a good decision. He is a shill who doesn't know how to do anything but yell to make a point and promotes a solitaire app that is so shady that espn won't let anyone but him promote it.
