if all this has been because of him and Sexton dawdling then yeah, we should move on honestly. Shit or get off the pot.

That said, the past 17 days have taught me that we here on TKP really don't know what's actually going on. I welcome our new head coach, whoever they are. And whenever they are too, apparently.

Not if you're talking about offense.

Suffren is getting only 1.6 ppg more than Daley on only 1.6 mpg more playing time.

They are equal in assists, but Daley is shooting 15% better and 17% better from range. Daley also has fewer turnovers.

Defensively, the argument could be made as Suffren leads the team in steals, though Daley has more blocks.

I think Daley's experience sets the tone to allow Suffren to be more effective when she comes in.

I hit the point (about two weeks ago, I think) of thinking that it's highly unlikely we land Franklin. I think as a fan base we need to move on. I'll be surprised if Franklin is named head coach of VT. My hope is that the committee has done their due diligence and we'll be naming someone we can get excited about in about a month.

Daley shot 6 for 7 last night. Suffren was 6 for 13. Suffren over Nelson I can get behind because they seem to be equals defensively but Suffren creates fastbreaks and turnovers. Nelson did a whole lot of standing around on offense last night. Reminded me of Wabissa Bede.

Meh, that's just a rehash of what was said last night....

VT is still in on Franklin and appears to be nearing completion, but Franklin is still holding out for the possibility FSU comes open. VT has Chesney as next in line if Frankin falls through.

At this point, if FSU was going to come open, it probably would have happened already. All signs are pointing to him signing with VT.

07Hokie made reference to it, but Hansberry as a legitimate rebounder and rim protector (to go with Lawal's ability to protect the rim) completely changes the dynamic for this team. Controlling the boards triggers the break, and rim protection allows the guards to more aggressively challenge the passing lanes.
