literally about as close to the Bayou as it gets....between Bayou Vermillion and Bayou Teche and not far from the coulee. Used to drive by Teurlings every day to and from work 1979-80...lived in St Martinville, worked in Lafayette.

Lafayette might have the best selection of traditional Cajun food in the country.

Needs to go undefeated in the season and win every game by one score just to get to the "bad in one score games" level from atrocious/disappears

It's funny, by having unregulated NIL, it's actually made the players less valuable from a real NIL perspective. I don't care about the players as much because who knows if they'll be here in 7 months. I don't care about playing the current VT players in CFB25, I just want to move on and draft my own. I remember killing people with Bryan Randall and loving that.

Look at the faces of college football, UGA has Carson Beck .. oh... Maybe a dominant big guy like LT Overton, should help with A&Ms large donor base ... oh huh... I just don't care because they might be gone next year so why get invested. I mean who didn't want Delane to be an all time great at VT? Who didn't want Chaplin to take another step forward and be a dominant tackle. But now I have to figure who to care about and largely I don't. I dont care if I ever get to play any of our current roster in a video game. I dont care to buy their jersey. I just don't care. I hope our players do well and all, but I doubt I'll hold many of them in as high regards as some of the ones in the past. I loved watching Peebles play this year, but what about Woody Baron, or Hopkins pros, or a number of DTs that might not have been as good but we got to watch them grow in the system. Tuten was a fantastic back but him and Herbert don't hit me like like Sugg or Jones or even McClease. Watching McClease clean up on every blocking assignment his senior year was amazing to watch how much he improved. So these guys just don't have the value to me for actual NIL (not pay to play) as a lot of the players used to have.
