My family and I were traveling in Houston a couple weeks ago and ducked in to a local market for lunch. There was an elderly gentleman working the deli. When he saw my tshirt (with a VT on it, of course) he says "Looky here, a Hokie". His next words? "Sandman's in the house!", while he offered me a fist bump. Have to admit it surprised me.
I feel like there's something different about the way this should stretches the narrative. Yes, Andor in the jungle wandered a bit, and it's hard for me to put my finger on it exactly, but I just feel like this show has a "snap" and sizzle to it that is just different and better.
IIRC Liberty plays the same pack-line defense that UVA plays because McKay used to be one of Tony's assistants. So yeah that might work out better for Jones.

Yeah, this is a meaningless distinction to me. I don't disagree that it isn't the most popular song to Metallica fans, it's not even my favorite song of theirs. But I was talking about the public at large, and I do think that if you asked most basics to name 1 Metallica song, that one would be most-picked thanks in no small part to VTFB. And in any case whether it's their most popular song or not, it's still good business for them to play it in Lane motherfucking Stadium.

As a Twins fan this brightens my day a bit. Schobel has had an average start to the year - I haven't been following closely, but he didn't start cold and he hasn't gone on any streaks, he's just been consistent at the plate but still needs some improvement. It wouldn't surprise me if he gets a late-season promo to St. Paul AAA if the guy in front of him (Fitzgerald) gets the September call-up with the Twins. Depending on what happens in the off-season there may be some hope for a non-roster invite to Spring training next year.
