Last inning the announcers said Kleinman was our Ace. Then they showed Lemley and said she's 'the other Ace'. WTF?

Yeah its nuts. Seems like she's trying to completely insert herself into the runnings of the program. Which...

Hey, I'm all for anything that brings chaos to UNC

Thank you for the pre-weekend laugh. I'd heard about all the blocking of people at UNC because of his girlfriend. Maybe we could hire their team as OL coach given that they block everything.

Jokes aside, hope he has an iron clad prenup if it gets to that point.

However it turns out, I don't think there was any hand-wringing in Blacksburg about any of the players that hit the portal. Early word on Jones was that he was slow on D and lost on O. His old 247 bio says He's worked hard to sculpt his frame, but has somewhat limited mobility. He may be best suited defending fives and isn't going to provide a ton of positional versatility or switch-ability on that end of the floor. MY says "you are who you can guard" and I think the mobility/versatility thing turned out to be accurate. Maybe he finds it at Liberty or maybe they play a lot of zone.

Hopefully, our other linebackers are improved enough he never has to set foot on field. Then we won't have to worry about finding out.

Eh, I'd have to disagree, if we break it down:

Liberty University is also a major bankroller of the current MAGA party (This is not political opinion, this is documented fact) and heavily influencing a lot of the decisions (it is well known and documented that LU actively seeks to influence politics and public policy) that are currently being made to dismantle the DoE and funnel more of that money to private institutions (Indisputable fact that the current administration brags about, dismantling DoE in favor of private institutions). So yeah, the Saudi comparison is spot on (Saudi Arabia's Privitization Program is focused on providing the private sector access to gov't assets)

Just a few facts about Liberty University, and one about SA - nothing arguing politics, just "it is what it is" ยฏ\_(ใƒ„)_/ยฏ

Music is subjective of course, and I am aware sandman has the most all time plays on spotify- yes. But its not anywhere near their slam dunk "most popular" song, IMO and I think if you asked a broad cross section of Metallica fans too.

Sure, amongst dedicated Metallica fans, and the "I listened to them before they were cool" hipsters, Enter Sandman is a bit of a "sell out" song, because the Black album is when they got mainstream success. That doesn't change the fact that Sandman stayed on top of the charts longer than any other Metallica song, hence their most popular song.

Dumb anecdote from my high school days: a good friend of mine was in a rock band that would play house parties. When the Black album got popular, they got requests for Sandman all the time. So my friend Chuck, the guitar player, would play the opening riff twice while the drummer started with the hi hat, then suddenly stop and lean over to the singers mic and say, "No, we don't know that one." Thought it was hilarious at the time, I guess we were hipsters, too.
