I put down season ticket deposits for Denver's new NWSL team last week. They just announced a new dedicated stadium for the team that's actually going to be located in town (opening for 2028 season). Compare that to the MLS team that plays way out in BFE with no public transport options...
We had all of the major contributors back from a 6-6 football team, so naturally you pay them instead of the basketball team. Since we can't do both.
Really hurts to see Rodney Rice on the Crab 5 and Chef Sean balling out at Ole Miss. We'd actually be in decent shape if we could just retain the players already on the team...
Major contributor to a sweet 16 team next year while we sit home again. Thanks Whit
Don't ever change TKP 😂😂
This is the kind of content which makes me keep coming back to read the recent comments. I certainly didn't have "nudist colonies are usually full of old hippies" on my bingo card.
Its what the fans wanted. Forcing kids to play for a 200K scholarship and priceless exposure was slavery.
If you are going to call a kid stepping on Kyle Guys foot with 2 seconds left in the final four, you HAVE to call the obvious walk on Maryland there. That kid walked big time- you have to call it if you are going to gift UVA a final four game. Be consistent.
Absolutely.
Carrying hasn't been called really for years, but traveling has gotten ridiculous.
Since the invent of the "Eurostep"...which is just a fancy name for a travel, most of the time 3 steps are allowed.
But now 4 steps isn't being called, guys who recieve passes and take several steps before initiating a dribble, and switching pivot feet--are all routinely ignored, it's ts gotten pretty egregious.
Goaltending I haven't noticed as much.
So we've stopped caring about the basic movement rules of the game and traded that in for 7 reviews at the end of the game to add 0.6 secs back on the clock.
He carried to boot
S.orry, but I guess the link ran out of space, but the last of it should read 2025/
Hope you can get it, good story.
For a good story about insanely avid fishermen and that great white, go to (hope I get this right):

I mean, I know in my prime I was avid, but these guys are more than dedicated, it seems.
At my age, old hippies describes me and most of my best friends. Their kids aren't even in their 20s anymore. It's all relative, my friend.
So I hadn't watched much non-VT basketball this year until the tournament, but it seems to me that the refs are getting way looser about carrying and offensive goaltending at the college level. Anyone else noticed this?

Regardless, don't move to Floyd County.

I've got a two year old Lightning and love it too!

I feel like they are a bad thing more often than they're a good thing. It's similar to the realization that nudist colonies are usually full of old hippies and not hot chicks in their 20s.
Unless you're into old hippies, in which case I'm happy for you and recommend moving to Floyd county.
I was really counting the steps on the replay and even with some tolerance to gather, that's 2.5 steps before he leaves the ground.
Great job by the team to bounce back and take the series from a ranked team.
Nice shot for Maryland....also helps when the Refs decide dribbling the ball is now optional.
That was 4 Steps.
Maybe not how we HOPED it would go, but it was a safe bet as to how it would actually go. Sadly. The system is broken down to elementary school aged kids. And these guys are products of that. And there are gaps in the make up of the roster. In general, the guys are either 21/22 or 26/27, excluding the keeps and Tim Ream.
And there will be some missing pieces this summer for the copa with the UEFA Club World Cup taking several guys out of the USMNT pool.

Honey you would have pitched the world's largest hissy fit if we didn't pay up to keep that 7-6 team
