I was wondering that as well during game 1. I didn't watch much baseball last year but i dont recall seeing the double bass.
Looking right at the batters eye and we very clearly have cutouts for the cameras to be placed.
Is the pink base at first base a new thing this year? Never seen that before today. Assume pink bag is for runners while white is for defense.
6-5 Tech, heading into the bottom of the 6th.
Edit: Drink; repeat.
6-5 Hokies in the 6th
Had one last season so not sure why they dont
I absolutely hate the camera angles we're getting. Do we not have a center field camera? Or did they just not set it up because of the recent weather?
5-5 in the 5th of game 2
Still in play! 2 to go
7-0, still yet to give up a run and this time a ranked opponent
16 SOs vs 21 batters!
It will be interesting to see how LSU does against the same opponents later today. But regardless it's a shutout win against the 21st ranked team. Nicely done. FAM!
Edit: corrected ranking
Yes
Lemley completes another perfect game
I just logged on to ask the same question. By the box score it certainly looks like it!
My wife hasn't "worked" since she finished building our new house last year. She watches her brothers kids so he and his wife can both "work" without having to try and pay for day care.
Looks like another perfect game for Lemley, right?!
Still 3-0 going to the 7th
Thank- especially in her case having already beaten breast cancer two different times(once as teen and another in her late 20s- she is just 35 now)! No one should have to endure as much as she has (including abuse and two lost pregnancies) at ANY time much less at such a young age.
It might be- she did say it was "chemo-like" but the advantage was not having to go in for extensive appointments. She didn't have the name at tip of her tongue but said it had an o in it so perhaps it was Temodar. Thank you and al the foks in the medical/pharma industry for all the continuing work to knock out cancer.
Game #2 starting approx. 4:45
Game. 19-0. 18 hits, no errors.
edit: i'll gladly drink for being 12s too slow
19-0 Final in game 1

Just googled it - NCAA approved it for all divisions starting this year. Looks like it was in place last year in the SEC. Looks to be governed at the conference level (in use for every in conference game) and I'm guessing its an optional thing for non-conference games. So, like the decision to have 7 inning games today instead of 9, both teams had to agree to use the double bass for the game/series.
