Can I say my Valentine's Day gift for my wife is that I supported her retiring early at age 54 while I continue to work? Her company offered a buy out last year and she took it. For what it's worth, 3 senior people at my work - all ladies - have commented to me that they are jealous of her.

Is this Temodar for glioblastoma? I had worked on some products in this area over the years. Not many things can cross the blood-brain barrier (bbb) and Temodar is one of them. Although I would call it a chemotherapy.
Have been working on some early pipeline opportunities for a pharma company examining a couple of mechanisms (sorry, I'd get in big trouble if I said who or in what areas), but some hope that one or both of them could cross the bbb.
They have to agree to it in non-con games before the games start. Apparently they did not do that today. It's standard in ACC games.

Unfortunately, I think you have hit the nail on the head as to why we cannot expect any big splash hires. No incentive for almost all big names to come here unless we pay them way more. And we're not willing or able to do that.
If there was someone who went to school here, connected to the area, son/daughter/grandchild/whoever decided to go to school here, near the end of their career and wants to retire here ... then sure, it is possible. But barring some special situation like that, I can't see why a big name person would come here at this point to be OC or DC.

Drones felt a bit like late stage logan.... Excelled early with some unsustainable battering ram play, then spent an off season trying to become a different kind of passer and lost the original benefits / couldn't make the passing part of the game replace the battering ram side of things fast enough
Also worth noting since I forgot it in the opening - today is a double-header. Game two will start ~40 minutes after game 1 concludes.

My wife pulled me aside about a month, month and a half ago, to remind me just how important Valentine's Day is to her.
I can't wait to find out what she has planned for tonight.
The thing about it - looking at the schedule, that could be very achievable, but I'm going to temper my expectation. The program has let me down so regularly I have no confidence it can be done.
