They did- my wife turned them on because she could not make out the words. She then said knowing what you could not hear did not make it any better any turned them off.
Also my wife said it was the worst half time show she can ever remember.

Yea... hindsight is very much 20/20. South Carolina did it, and they are easily in a better spot than they were at the time, and they've received no judgement for it.

Chronic dehydration is my life. I love my light beer (any beer, actually), but I love it. I try to get enough water in to counteract the effect of the alcohol on hydration, but it's an ongoing struggle.
With my impending surgery, knee replacement on Wed., I had a couple of blood draws and the nurse at the hospital suggested a pinch of Himalayan salt added to my water. She said that would help. Maybe I'll try it, maybe not, but that was her suggestion.

We have an emerging sheepshead fishery here in the Mobjack. Not many fish, but enough for some folks to target. Don't know what they've been using to get them, but we don't have sand fleas around here, so it's likely to be crabs. The fish are using oyster cages that are numerous enough to create a reef like structure that a lot of folks fish early in the season for trout, which feed around the cages. Personally, I've fished it without result, and French and I have fished them a time or two, but not for sheepshead. I tumbled to it when conversing with a couple of local anglers who'd been out trout fishing in a 16' jonboat. I asked about trout, and they had a limit, then offered to show me. Under all those trout were a couple of really nice sheepshead, which surprised me. In that sized boat, there was no structure protected enough for them to fish in the Mobjack. They wouldn't reveal where they got them, and they knew I knew enough to be more than curious, so even after some 15 minutes of conversation, off they went with me wondering. Within a couple of weeks, however, I was able to talk with a few more anglers about sheepshead and the light bulb went off in my thick skull and I got confirmation about the oyster cages.
I am not really interested in chasing sheepshead, but with all the trout deaths here and NC, we might be looking for something else to chase locally come spring and summer.
Man, I do love tomales, but other than a restaurant or Hormel in a can, I've not had many of them. Home made?

2nd Super Bowl of my lifetime. Got revenge on those bastards from a couple years ago and made it hurt so there wasn't any doubt. Holy shit, last night was the kind of stuff dreams are made of.

He might've ruined Drakes career but that performance most likely ended his as well. The sound crew should also be unemployed as the acoustics were awful but that's beside the fact he mumbled his best Milli Vanilli impersonation.
My feel for it was that he took a performance that was designed for his fans and copy/pasted it into the superbowl halftime show. There were millions of people who got all the easter eggs, knew all the references, etc, and probably tens of millions more who are hip hop fans who appreciated it.
But there were 100 million people who were completely out of the loop.
This was not a pop music performance. Personally, I enjoyed this more than any halftime show pre-2020 (except for Prince and Beyonce - they were the exceptions).
