Once you get it, start studying for CISSP, its what really matters. Sec+ really only matters to get admin privileges on gov't systems. CISSP is recognized by commercial companies a lot more as well as govt.
We made 5 mil in profit last year. We paid Joe Rudolph $0.5mil more a year than we paid Crooks and Moore, heck we are barely paying Moore this year due to his WVU contract. Mines got a raise but no where close to cover the difference in Brad Glenns salary vs Brooks. We are paying are coaching staff are $0.75 mil less than 3 years ago. We can easily afford a $1.5 mil DC. We have the revenue to afford even higher.
Honestly if we're not in the $2.5 mil range then we aren't getting any top notch coordinator. We have to overpay because most likely they will have to look for a job in two years.
I saw a local article about this the other day and the lack of recruiting rules was one of the first things they pointed out. I was wondering what they would actually do for games but you just covered that.

Coach Overton has resigned and will be taking over as the Director of Football/Head Coach at the new St James Performance Academy being started by The St James Gym. Sounds like it's going to be college athletics prep school from middle school up.
Won't have to worry about recruiting rules anymore. Now he can legit pick NoVa clean. I would expect they will play WCAC schools and travel to play other Academies like IMG.

Sean Spencer is the DL coach who coached under wait for it....James Franklin at Vanderbilt. Jay Bateman is DC under Mike Elko, who both coached together at Richmond.

Man Daniels is so good. The Commies are going to be good for a very long time. They just ran into a complete unit today, a unit that they will most likely be about 5 years from now. As an Eagles fan I'm actually happy to see Washington good. Sports are fun when rivalries are closely contested among great teams.

He started off great at UNC, but peaked quickly and had a pretty woeful 2021 with decent talent. Now, to be fair, no one who has replaced him has fared much better---so was it a Bateman issue or a UNC one?
It seems the opinion on his performance at Texas A&M has been quite mixed.
As compared to an internal hire like Quinn or even Poindexter (who has now been passed over 3 or 4?? times at PSU) Bateman would be a reasonably solid hire.
