I would argue that this is still a small sample size. If you narrow it a little to find equivalents, IMO it's hard to how bad our outlier status is. PSU, OU, Miami, Clemson, FSU, and Michigan are all above us in the pecking order unfortunately. You could argue Nebraska and UW, I wouldn't I think those are close enough comps. I am going to eliminate Nebraska because that was midseason firing. That leaves

• SCar: 11 days
• UCLA: 7 days
• NCST: 23 days
• VT: 45 days as of 1/26

We're more than double any other search, which to your point is alarming. I'm not sure I'm ready to panic based on that considering the carousel is still churning. Of the two DC hires, Walters is getting about $1.4m/yr. NC State hired DJ Eliot as DC and Charlton Warren as co-DC, which someone please explain to me like I'm 5.

That was one of the parts of the game I was able to catch. I watched waiting for them to call it a jump ball. They called jump balls earlier in the game after less than a second of both players touching it.
