I still like CMY and his assistants, I think the money is calling him away and that is what I will continue to think unless I hear leaving players bad mouthing Young. As a 6'10" freshman, he showed good highlights and minutes. Somebody is going PAY him.

Pleasant surprises for 2026...
- Gaby Mizelle, Freshman: has started every game as a true freshman. .337 avg, 5HR, 9-10 stolen base
- Emma Mazzarone, Junior: 8-1 with a 2.19 ERA. Her velocity is one of the tops in the country with her fastball consistently at or above 70 mph. This year she has developed a very nice change-up to keep hitters guessing.
- Nora Abromavage, Sophomore: This appears to be a breakout year for Nora. She has started all 35 games thus far and has a .388 avg with 11 HR and 43 RBI.
- Avery Layton, Freshman: 6-1 with 3.38 ERA. Will only get better with experience.
- Bree Carrico, Sophomore: 9-0 with a 1.33 ERA. After not playing last year because of injury, Bree has become the biggest surprise of the year. I don't have the words! Somebody else will have to wax more eloquently than me.
- Zoe Yaegar, Junior: Zoe has improved her batting average and power. Thus far she is at .376 avg. with 8 HR and 40 RBI.
- Jordan Lynch, Sophomore: No sophomore slump here. Jordan leads the team with a .479 batting average with 13 2B, 4 3B, and 11 HR.
- Addison Foster, Junior transfer from Stetson: Lock down center fielder. Addison has started all 35 games and has a .423 avg, with 5 HR, has scored 31 runs and is 7-7 on stolen bases.
- Rachel Castine, Senior: Rachel is playing some of her best softball since her injury shorten 2024 season. .415 avg. with 9 HR
It's hard not to mention Michelle Chatfield, Kylie Aldridge, Annika Rohs, and Sophie Kleiman who have all been rock solid steady all year.

I did six brackets on E$PN's challenge. On my best bracket I rank number 491,093 with UConn as my champion. So I guess I'm pulling for UConn.

Only two were to the Hokies.

Other losses to Belmont, Oklahoma State, Clemson, Arkansas 2X, and Mississippi St.

Still not good enough because they lack quality wins. 3-6 vs Top 25 teams. Clemson is #26 currently.

UGA has more losses obviously. But 3 2 of those were to Virginia Tech, who is a top 15 team. Doesn't weigh the same.

Us wrestling open is in a couple weeks. Bo already announced that he will be doing both the U20 and Senior events. And Mario Carini is signed up for the U20 already. Keep an eye out for more hokies and future hokies to sign up over the next couple weeks

Only one I have issue with is Georgia. Nebraska 4 of 5 losses are to Top 10 teams.

Hell. We might not get to host anyway if we are one of the selected

This is Goldbelly running with a brand. Trying to part a fool and their money.
The prices on-site are hilariously low...with nothing outside of alcohol over $2.50 on the menu. (Just googled, and they've raised the prices...up from $2.50 to $3.00 on a few items.)

As a side bar, going to the practice round for the PGA outside Philly this year, and they've included food and non-alcoholic beverages in the cost. You can get a sandwich/chips/soda or water each time you go into the concession tent. Pretty sweet baked-in aspect.

Because the SEC schools we beat have better quality losses.

That sounds like a mathematician fetish. As an engineer, the first question is "does it work", if no, can you make someone else's problem?, if no, cuss, then solve for the area. If it works, then don't f-ing touch it!
