I thought the LBs and Safeties looked terrible yet again. Safeties looked like they were constantly in the wrong position for the play and the LBs, especially Keller seemed to be hesitant with the exception of a few nice plays.
Which is why I was surprised how little they gave up in the second half. Pry mentioned they made some adjustments to coverage in the second half to make their QB hold the ball just a little longer. Did French or anyone happen to notice what those changes were?
Need JSJ (DEs) and Dex (DC and S) very fast. Shore up DE and S play asap, Bud as top consultant. I thought the LBs played more fundamentally sound overall but are just undersized/can't bring down a bigger guy. Dex/JSJ recruiting can fix that.
After listen to the two deep you were on i really feel the comment that we play defense as 3 different units.

No doubt, and surprisingly we had two more chances in the red zone that we did nothing with. Could have easily been in the game even more with a ragtag group. Maybe that speaks to talent over synergy and plan?
I'm sure dear old James is gonna put some major restrictions on that. I personally think it's ridiculous if it is Dex they couldn't announce until PSU is done. Franklin hasn't stopped recruiting against Pry and taking our recruits. And Franklin has passed Dex over twice for the sole DC gig. Let the man get his laurels.

If the DC is actually Poindexter, are there any 2nd or 3rd stringers from PSU that might potentially follow him? I can't imagine a backup LB or DB from Penn State could be any worse than our apparent starters at the moment.
My cousin burned me a CD with Parents just Don't Understand when I was 8, then that led to limewire rabbit hole looking up fresh prince/will smith music.
So I didn't listen to fresh prince and DJ jazzy Jeff before the TV show came out, but by the time I first learned of the TV show, I knew will smith the rapper. Obviously I knew will smith the actor from Independence Day and men in black first. Definitely took time to connect the dots.

Can't believe they scored 86 points to keep up with Miami offensively. Well, at least we didn't go winless in ACC play which I legitimately feared was a possibility. FAM!

We don't have any natural LBs currently at that spot which is a major recruiting issue. We have a bunch of safeties we have hoped will work out there. Keller is continually hesitant in his play. And we are very undersized.
