Had big plans to cook some homemade pasta and sauce for the fam after we took an Italian cooking class. Instead, I'm in quarantine in the guest room of my house with the flu. Thankfully it's mild but nobody wants me hand-mixing their pasta (understandably), so it looks like some store bought sauce and spaghetti!
We'll do a nice New Year's Day dinner instead. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays TKP!
Couple different spellings on here. But it looks the one in the title has an extra "r". We have done well with backs in the portal, and it looks like that may continue.
Moore and Chaplin have already committed and I know none of this is binding, but I think we can count them gone. The only one left that I think would be worth getting back would be Lance Williams.

Went to visit my parents and brother and his family in ATL last weekend. Mom made ham. Stopped in Charlotte to drop some stuff off and my son and his wife make dinner. Ham. They laughed about her grandmother making ham when they go visit her in RI the 27th. Got home and put the ham in the freezer. Making a rib roast tomorrow instead. Traditional baked potato, green beans, Caesar salad. Father-in-law, both kids, wife and daughter-in-law. Breakfast casserole in the oven now. Doing a fusion hot pot for dinner tonight. Pho broth with kimchi and instant ramen mix in a fondu pot where everyone can cook what they want. Rice noodles, mini-potstickers, tofu, shrimp, bok choy, sweet potato, mushrooms, shaved beef.....
So how many of the OL portaling out change their minds?
I collected as many of the Hardywood Christmas beers as I can, and I intend to drink them all. That said, I will be about 200 yards from my bed tonight and have a driver.

Yep - even for king college football- businesses typically don't like losing money. Even for lord southern irrational college football fandom above all else- including god and family- an actual for profit business doesn't like to lose money long. Keep in mind- these businesses will lay people off, cut travel, cut benefits, close offices in the name of margins. They won't light money on fire much longer for college football players.
Just the Mrs and I tomorrow. She's baking today...some cookies and caramel pecan rolls...made some gingerbread bars with cream cheese icing last night...yum!!! Keeping food uncomplicated this year. If the ocean is open, Plan A is fried shrimp; if it's closed, it'll be steaks.
Daughter and her partner are here on Thursday afternoon. Started the week with his dad's memorial service yesterday. Very sad but not unexpected...multi-year battle with cancer. So they and his sister's crew are sticking close to his mom for a couple days.
You can't listen to WVU football fans.. 90% of them never went to college and still live in a dark, dead state that was built on coal. They are the definition of irrational. The other 10% are actually alums or Shepherd/Bluefield alums that have a bit more rational thoughts. These people think Rich Rodriguez is a good coach.

We're going to spend Christmas eve and morning with my family before driving up for a few days with the in-laws. I'm making a bucatini amatriciana, my dad's frying a turkey, and my grandma decided last minute to come down and is bringing some ravioli she made. A little heavy on the pasta and carbs, but there's worse things.
Hope everyone is able to spend some time with friends and family and make some great memories.
IN their defense, St. Joes has always been pretty good. But still not a good sign for the rest of the season.

I posted earlier that I thought that pry had made a strategic move. O line coach with good coaching history,and 4 guys in the portal for potential transfers. I guess I was over reacting. Would like to hear who else pry had a chance with for o line coaches that may have better filled the void.
