I wasn't able to watch the game. Now I wish I had. Anchors Aweigh!

Yeah, that one is going to sting a little.

hopefully they are at least paying him a lot of money
I admire the strength of your position on this.
Except are you really paying every player on a team? And what if you are paying them less than what they want ideally - seems like you might still be able to sell them on other aspects of the program. I doubt "recruiting" is just sliding a piece of paper across the table with a number on it. Otherwise, all these programs with recruiting staffs would fire them and dump the extra cash into NIL/player payment funds.
Us mathletes write it the way you do =/=
Maybe I'm wrong, but I recall him having to wear 36" waist pants even though he was only 32" waist, just to be able to fit his thighs...
Depends on the health of his triceps. Hopefully he can practice in the spring, but not sure if he will be able. Hopefully he has a Gosnell-like recovery and able to come back quickly and effectively. The silver lining being with the injury occurring in the 4th game, this year will count as a RS-year and he still has two years of eligibility.
Taking a lot for me not to downvote this on principle of how disgusted it makes me
Words can't describe how much I HATE that he ended up there
What's up with Copeland? Breaking weight room records, coaches raving in the offseason, then barely gets any burn. Any chance he's able to break out next year?
Aycen Stevens... sleeper-pick-De2'ish... your kinda guy.
...he is a yesteryear/throwback kinda pure football natural tackler who jus' plain 'gets it'.

When I saw the title, I thought it was going to be ranking coaches based on how they'd finish (or DNF) in the Iditarod
Auburn saved all its money this past year to go all in this year
I mean it makes sense. Bowen should know what his QB likes and dislikes and does well and doesn't do well so he can game plan. A QB fundamentals coach can work to refine the techniques.
RB Udoh from Army in the portal. Would be a great add to the room especially since Thomas went into the portal.
Worse than soccer since we don't even get a transfer fee for the trouble either.
Also love how he went from the ACC team that was less than the sum of its parts to the SEC version.
VT has officially reached SEC-feeder status.
Once a coveted choice for the SEC, now relegated to giving away their top talent.
Yes and no.
Players can get the same money or more money at about 30 to 40 other P4 universities. So what differentiates UNC from the others? It's Belichick.
Belichick has a legacy as a winner. But he is also an ass and has as much charisma as a rock. Based on his legacy (and UNC branding), he'll always be able to get a handful of top recruits. But if UNC doesn't win and a player is fed up with the Belichick's schtick, he will transfer. Nobody likes working under an ass.
Has offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Miss St, Minnesota, Nebraska and a few other ACC programs.
Ah thank you
Go Navy, Beat Army.
They have very deep pockets and freeze has to win next year or be fired.
I hate it, but I get it.
Chaplin is expected to head to Auburn.
Former Virginia Tech standout offensive tackle Xavier Chaplin is expected to transfer to Auburn, @chris_hummer and I have learned for @cbssports/@247sports.The 6-7, 325-pound Chaplin started for Virginia Tech the last two years and was a 2023 All-American.... pic.twitter.com/Ku4QoehRr8โ Matt Zenitz (@mzenitz) December 15, 2024

We're screwed.
