The ladies have a good team, and can play in the ACC. Have not looked like a top 10 team. There should be some good games to watch this year as we find out where we sit on the good to really good spectrum.

i know i'm days late to this, but just wanna point out that "dihydrogen peroxide" as you have written above is very different than "dihydrogen monoxide".
dihydrogen monoxide is water, dihydrogen peroxide .... hydrogen peroxide -- incredibly oxidative and explosive when heated!
Yeah.... I mean how many college athletes who are gifted enough to get to the NFL don't make it there because of a lack of a pipeline?
Sure, but isn't ALL of college football a pipeline to the NFL?
UNC doesn't have a monopoly on that. They're going to have to write checks like everyone else.

This is it right here. You already have every network saying this. Every recruit is hearing it on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. "North Carolina is a NFL pipeline"
Belichick doesn't need to recruit. Everyone else is going to do it for him, especially those who aren't even working for UNC.

Oh my gosh, Ely is a total blast. Have been there 5 times. 3 times in winter for dog sledding (and winter camping on 2 of those 3 years, did lodge-to-lodge day trips the other time) and 2 times in summer for hiking and kayaking. Probably 1 of my top 5 places to visit. I'm actually quite jealous of her.
I've felt all along that UNC was a top/the top target. The UNC brand is nationwide, even if it's not specifically football-centric.
The SEC (and B1G) get into a brand new market with one of the top 5-ish brands in the country. The Belichick thing just signals to suitors that UNC is serious and is enthusiastic when the suitors come calling.
Listen to the quotes from the Board of Trustees (who drove this whole thing far more vigorously than the AD)... It's all about letting the world know that Carolina is serious about big-boy football and that they deserve a seat at the table.
Oh, the NCAA is in charge of it?
That explains why there seems to be no limits.
