While I'm not going to argue that development under this staff has been quite underwhelming, the McDonald bros were "projects" coming in.
Neither were top-50 in VA that year and I believe Fuente and Co. "flipped" them from LA-Monroe.
Maybe the truth is they were probably always best suited at the G5 level. Dad might need a bit of a reality check.

Shocking stat...Brown got 29+ minutes! I don't love his passing, but he dribbles and shoots the ball pretty well.
Also only 10 turnovers and 89% from free throw line. These are positives!
Surprised from the standpoint that he may have been a guy who got some extra run in the bowl game. And he may have thus had more tape to Portal in the Spring.
At the same point, if it became clear that younger wide receivers were already passing him on the depth chart, the writing may have been on the wall.
Is it? He's barely seeing the field, and everyone seems to think we recruited over him with last year's class.
Seems like the logical thing for him to do if he wants to get major playing time somewhere.

Burnham hit three shots as shot clocks expired or at the buzzer of the first half and led everyone with 17 points.
Five Hokies finished in double-digits but majority of scoring came off the bench.
Brown going to get more minutes as well
