ah, the ol reverse-reverse Logan Thomas.
This is why you don't get rid of Bowen. Those QBs are super attached to him.
Hard disagree. Pop has a higher ceiling, we don't really know what his floor is. Drones has more experience, we know what we can expect out of him. I don't think he's hit his ceiling, but I don't think it's anywhere near Pop's.
I doubt it, he'll be a redshirt freshman next year, it's still too early for him to expect to start. I think he leaves after next season when he gets passed by Ryan and/or Brand.
He could make money going somewhere else. The QB portal pool isn't great this year. Going pro was never an option for him.
Wait, why do you think McDonald is going to portal. Wasn't he hurt all this year? He played well last year. APR, Nelson, and McCray ate up most of the snaps, now that they're leaving there are a lot more snaps to go around. I expect he'll still be behind Burgos, and Stevens probably passed him. But, he has a chance at beating out Abbey and Dandy.
I could see Quinn getting promoted to DC. He has 7 years experience as a college DC, at the FCS level, and a few years as a high school DC. If that's the case I would really like to see Pry take over linebackers full time and then hire an additional DLine coach. Price, IMO, has struggled to get a full seasons potential out of our DL and has not been as successful as he needs to be recruiting a position where talent is easily identifiable.
Accurate (having been there once)
Only if Ekanem wasn't allowed to eat for days on end. He never got any bigger and Abbey has passed him by.
Overton is the best HS back they have landed since Ryan Williams

What happened to Jennette?? I thought he was supposed to be the next coming of Ken Ekanem
I am not sure who will be there to block for them, but more and more I am coming around to the idea that Jeff Overton is going to be special. Pair him with Pop on inside zone read could be a special tandem. Overton is the best HS back they have landed since Ryan Williams.
Watched a little bit of film on the incoming freshmen (Evans, Henderson, and Big Zeke.) Evans is the most ready, but all three guys have a lot of work to do. Evans is strong and has a great motor, but he has a lot to learn with his hands. Henderson and Chinweke are both very raw.
Watson to safety? We need those too.
Will Drones be happy with less money next year if we give some to Pop?
(Hopefully not) Whit:

Not going to lie, when I first saw the headline I thought for a second that Pry was going to let them go and do this....

Woodson and Reddish are the two guys they had to keep this offseason. If either becomes anything less than at least borderline All-ACC by their third years (big one for Woodson in 25) this defense is in a lot of trouble.
I need to see more of defense. Lovett hasn't looked as good as his HS film, but Strong came out of nowhere to become a good college corner. I really am hopeful that Josh Clarke can be a dude at corner. He looked good in the spring.
I have no idea what they can do at DL unless Laws, Big Gerard, and Hanchuk were destroying things on scout team and JC thinks they can step right in. I didn't hear any chatter about them, so I have no idea if that is even possible. But, right now it is Gilliam, Copeland, and question marks.
Checking DC's eligibility standards...yes, yes he can!
I think the whole thing is going to crash and burn before they ask the NCAA or a similar group to reform and start over. So I guess Option 1.
Nick Sorenson for DC
Todd Washington for OL
And anyone named Gentry for S&C
Yeah, it could be exciting. Bragging rights will reign supreme for wild guessing.
Regarding 1) do you think there are any younger players capable of developing to fill these roles? For example Woodson has been playing more and more at WILL. Do you think he can be the answer moving forward? Does Lovett have what it takes to be a lockdown corner? Has Reddish shown potential at safety?
Basically, do you think the coaches qre struggling more in recruiting or developing for this scheme?

Sooo we're hiring Bob shoop?
