UNCheat at BC (Unc -3.5) - really hoping UNC drop their last 2 and make the Mack Brown news from this week super awkward
5 Indiana at 2 OSU (OSU -11.5) - I think WINdiana has the pot leaves sweating through the first half, but anOSU pulls ahead late.
14 BYU at 21 Az State (Sun Devils -3.5) - ๐Ÿคท
Pitt at Loovil (UL -7.5) - I think shitt can keep it within a TD
15 Tammies at Auburn (@tM -2.5) - Auburn should get throttled IMO, but I hope they win and keep the SEC tie breaker nightmares going
USC at UCLA (usc -4.5) - who cares

BOTW TBD going to the beer store tomorrow for some winter/chrismasy brews

I'm going, first game with daughters and nephews

As expected, in unanimous votes, the Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani won the NL MVP, and the Yankees' Aaron Judge won the AL MVP.

I'll be there. (Fan-ning, not covering the game, braving the autumn cold.)

I want to say I looked at other schools' RB rosters when Fuente had so many. If I recall correctly, most had 4, maybe 5 scholarship backs and then a couple walk ons for about 7 RBs on roster.

So most schools, your 4th string is likely a freshman or RS freshman, knocking on the door of walk-ons.

I think the real chance is he transfers. Someone can grab him for about what we paying his NIL (I doubt we would match) and promise him a draft grade. He hasn't been developed and that's going to be on his mind.

If Pry wants to keep him, he needs to bring in another QB coach (maybe co-OC).

But when you throw fanhood into the mix, you get impassioned nonsense where someone "reporting" is also looking to shape discourse with selective framing. It's dumb, but it gets clicks and it gets eyeballs and it gets angry fans to repost on their other message boards which gets even more people even more angry

this is not unique to sports coverage

So there's a difference between investigative journalist and a reporter. Schefter doesn't ask tough questions but he sure does break news.

There are no journalists anymore. Does Schefter ask a tough question? nope. Does Jay Glazier sniff jocks? yep investigate? nope. When teams started giving media credentials to blogs with no subscribers and message boards, sports journalism was over right then. HBO real sports had some of that- but it's gone too.
