LOL I wish

Apparently after the last game we played there, the check we sent them to reimburse them for what we used was stolen in the mail (we verified it was cashed, but Duke never had it on their system as paid). We've spent years trying to make them good about it, and they won't return our calls or emails. So at this point I just don't expect them to be working with us going forward.

We've got 15 going. Mix of old alums, new alums, current students, and families of those younger folks.

My friend and have had season tickets for 11 years now. This will be warmer than the 2016 UVA game (kickoff temp 26 F; end of game 20 F with 10-20mph winds).

My plans for the holiday weekend:
Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's house Thursday;

Christmastown at Busch Gardens Friday - from noon til 8pm ish; back to Richmond to go dancing at club from 11pm-2am Saturday morning.

. Friend picking me up from the club about 215 and driving directly to Blacksburg; arrive at lot 18 approx. 545 AM; tailgate til 6pm; leisurely walk to the stadium(including 30 minutes at the gate waiting in line lol);kickoff at 8pm; game over by 11-1145; walk back to car;

Drive back to Richmond arriving 3-330am; up by 830am for 10 and 1130 am church services. Nap and relax Sunday afternoon/evening...unless a different friend want to do Christmastown again in which case I'll go there Sunday after church.

You're the reason the Triangle Hokies alumni chapter (see above) couldn't get any tickets, lol

My son and are going and we will be hanging with a fellow Hokie who puts on a huge tailgate with his group of regulars season in and season out. This guy bought a house in the Burg as he and his wife are gung-ho Hokies. He let me know that about 75% of his group are not coming to the game due to the following reasons:

1) 8pm game time and it's going to be cold and it might snow (or rain)
2) We suck
3) To further justify reasons, both 1 and 2 above now allow for the "It's Thanksgiving" bullshit excuse.

My son (26 years old) and I don't care about all that nonsense. Going to wear my hunting cloths, got a hotel room in Cburg for a decent rate, and we are going to have a blast hanging out together Friday and Saturday.

GO HOKIES BEAT LOLUVAin't

A defender on the ground is always good. But, that's not nearly as impressive as the twitter poster seems to think it is. Watt was already engaged and Teller pushed him sideways.
