I feel your pain
I appreciate the concern there and it was definitely something that I thought of before I did this. I got his permission before even attempting it, and he was on board with the idea. I really just wanted to see how one would come out, before anything gets done further. It turned out quite nicely, and my hope is that more can possibly be made with the full intent of benefiting this website, not myself.

Certain teams UF don't like leaving their state, others Bama want neutral site games most times. Others only want to play so often or want 2-1 games. I think for the level Tech has been at the last 5 years the P5 schedule is looking great with home games against some great schools.

My opinion is just that I don't think that ODU is a net benefit to our team given what I believe they are capable moving forward. Said differently, the stronger your SOS, the more leeway you get with a trip up here in there, and trip ups do happen unfortunately.

Eddie Izzard is brilliant and I agree that "Dressed to Kill" is probably one of the best stand-up comedy specials ever made by any comedian. It's absolutely hysterical.

Thanks, but unfortunately I did not come up with this glorious apparel. I was simply looking for the Fuente Foster '16 pic to post on here. But I DEF recommend. I will be purchasing a Maroon (maybe a white one).

I think we would have to give them a home game at some point in that rotation. Maybe we could talk the schools into a 5 year rotation with VT getting 3 of the 5 games at VT with this format. Just for fun I have added App St into the "regional" mix to see what it would look like:

Dino Babers posts on Facebook about a business opportunity and swears it's not a pyramid scheme.
Flag looks awesome, but I imagine this thread is a bit infuriating for Joe. He's trying to raise money to keep the site afloat (and I realize I have yet to sign on as key player, which I have set a notice to do tomorrow) and as per older posts, which you may not be aware of, regarding t-shirts these kind of things detract from Joe being able to raise money for TKP itself.
Maybe I am wrong, but I remember Joe asking specifically for people to stop designing tshirts on here and instead buy TKP shirts. Anyway, don't mean to be a wet blanket. The flag indeed looks fantastic. And you will definitely be spreading the word of mouth. Keep Hokieing on.

# | David Teel: Babcock, Fuente, & others to re-examine future football schedules I'm not sure I understand what you are saying... each of the teams would play VT 5 times: 3 at VT and 2 at their place over a 20 year period.
This proposal would essentially give Tech one "regional" G5 opponent for the next 20 years and 12 of those 20 games would be at VT.
I think Marshall and App State would jump all over the idea. Not sure about ODU and ECU as this would be a downgrade to what we already have given them.
I wouldn't describe Bitter as "changing his tune". I think it's more like you said where this is just the first time in a long time in which he finally gets to report on a winning VT team. Bitter is a realist and he's not a VT homer (Auburn grad), and he's pretty upfront about where his heart lies. I respect him for that.
The only thing I don't like about his reporting style is that he doesn't like to speculate, and mostly just seems to state the obvious. His analysis is a tier above what Dinich does though for sure.
