Ok. Despite my intense dislike for mamma giraffe (and I would readily upleg if someone else posted it), my love for this community surpasses my hatred of her. So I will dial back. And PLEASE, don't let what myself or anyone else posts prevent you from joining the TKPC OR hopping aboard the Hokie Hypetrain. The crossed out comment would most likely sound funnier in a bar after a few drinks anyways.

I hated 1st take and all the changes they made to sports center and having topics on the side and bottom of the screen and in the middle, but she is the number one reason that the only reason I have used that site in 3+ years is for streaming games.

I just go on wednesday with the thought that if it was crazy enough to sell out in one day I wouldn't want to deal with it anyways. It does seem like they handle it much better now though, haven't had a problem in months.

The only thing I will say is that the giraffe joke when it comes to Heather, I have taken part in myself, if only because I know through experience its a joke that transcends across the ACC online forums and is essentially ACC internet canon by now.

Also, ranking UVA last all the time helps.

I have to say, I'm just really disappointed in the insulting comments in the thread, profanity and personal insults, which popped up within minutes of the post being created. I expect better from TKP. Occasionally poking fun is one thing, the stuff I'm reading here is another. As much as you may have expected/wanted/tried to make the discussion go another route, as soon as I saw the title, I knew what the comments were going to be. And it's really easily avoidable.

They take the time to research their stuff and are actually putting out articles pointing out that the ACC is actually a conference that's playing better than its reputation.

You know... I have a theory (and trust me, I still need to see a lot of football to make sure of this), I don't know if Fuente really wants lots of big yards tackle to tackle. The offensive line plays with very tight splits, and that kind of jams everything up and makes it pretty tough for the uncovered linemen to get to the linebackers. At the same time, it keeps the defensive alignment tight, which creates more space outside. I have wanted to do a large sample and look at the design more closely, so at this point it is a theory, but more and more I think that runs tackle to tackle are more to set the defense up for other plays than intended to be big ground gainers.
Again, just a theory. My tune may change. But the blocking inside hasn't been terrible.
