David Hale has some pretty high praise for us as well in his tiered CFB rankings based on possibility of making playoff, and overall ability of the team.
^^^^^ THIS
Go crazy Hokie Nation, our coaching staff will worry about the team and keeping them grounded. I am confident everything we talk about is just noise to them. But this is what makes being a fan so great, all of the joy and carefree prognostication with no real world responsibilities. It's why we love sports!! On to the HYPE train!!!!
Its not a trap. Fuente knows exactly who Babers is and what he wants to do. Our seniors are too focused and into Fuentes game by game mindset.
The way Cuse played last year might have been a trap. But the way they're playing this year could have them run themselves out the building by the second quarter.
No worries, Stickitin, we saved you a seat and got the conductor to make a special stop to pick you up. Welcome aboard!
...and we were ranked 25 as well.
It was destiny to avenge Frank
I'm guessing those conversations over golf with Frank get more and more awkward. "So... how's the new boss?" "Great, it's nice finally having someone who values offen...I mean, um, he's ok"
Sorry. After the last several years of being disappointed, I sometimes slip into a reality mode. I'm aboard the HYPE TRAIN and ready to ride!
Having been a Hokie basketball fan for exactly as long as I've been a Hokies football fan (1967), I can attest to the fact that there are some of us who don't just decide to pay attention "only when they feel like it". Sure, some years are better and more fun and exciting than others, but despite the perception that VT didn't care about the roundball until Buzz came to town, there have always been a core of dedicated fans out here, and I was, and still am, one of them.

duke gardens are nice. Just give them some sharpened sticks and a conch shell and let them run wild while you're at the game. I'm sure nothing bad can come of it.
I was at that sale too!
I got in a fight over a football book entitled "Effective Game Management" by M. London with this big blond guy that day. He seemed really intense and I finally let it go when he threatened to punch me in the balls over it.
I'd say that pro style offenses such as LSU and Georgia are struggling more so than spread type offenses in the SEC. Even Alabama is using Spread concepts now a days to get these elite athletes they have in space on the outside.
I've seen Bullet price was something like fifty bucks for a liter. Makers Mark is a little cheaper but It's not my favourite. At home, I buy Buffalo Trace in the half gallon bottles.
Heck, let them run as far as Chapel Hill. They'll each come back with multiple degrees.
Buzz should be considered.
Depends on what you mean by thin. We've done a great job of restoring the receiver corps. We have 15 WRs on roster and 4 verbals for this cycle, plus Drake Deiuliis, who will be a tight end the way Bucky is a tight end.
I'd argue we aren't thin at receiver, we're young at receiver. In an ideal world, Bucky and Ford come back to make a run in 2017, allowing us to develop the underclassmen another season, but I think that's a pipe dream.
So I crowd source babysitters? Love it
My upper New experience is so limited, but the impression I have is of a shallower, flatter more homogenous flow when compared to the lower stretches. These areas still hold fish, but not as many and often not as big a fish as more diverse water. There are stretches that have been impounded, but the further up you go, the flatter it seems to be.
That bro hug was perfect. It has to be weird for Foster right now, getting an offense that is effective and instills confidence. It's like an animal who gets abused ( :( ) early in life and then goes to a loving home. Hopefully he is getting less skittish and not peeing as much when he hears thunder.
Fuente's pregame speech was a masterclass. I am so hyped up on Fuente and Foster right now!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Just the receivers. We are still very thin at the receiver spot. Getting those freshman in for meaningful snaps is very important
So, did they make the trip to Duke for the UVA game?
with occasional blustery, turbulent winds...
I would suggest trying to take more than one kid. When my wife was a couple weeks out from having out latest, even just having the extra toddler running around was too much. I took the 3 and 5 year old to some baseball games and that worked well, but if I couldn't find an activity that could get all walking children out of the house, it was a no go.
The good news is that it's duke, so there will be lots of empty bleachers for the kids to run around on.

In the preseason predictions, I called this a trap and if we were 5-0 coming into it, I would hold to that prediction. I have seen way too many mediocre Syracuse team play way beyond their potential against the Hokies to think otherwise. The loss to UT changed that though. CJF took that loss and made the team better for it. These guys are focused on every game, every play, every assignment. I do not think we lose in the dome this year. As a matter of fact, I do not think we lose again this regular season. We will be playing in Charlotte.... errrrr...... Orlando and what happens there will let the nation know, VT may have been down for a bit, and not up to our previous level of dominance, but that is over.
