Still think jubilation needs to be tempered here...
1. UT game happened. Defense didn't look all world for some reason. Somebody will figure out why.
2. Boston College really sucks this year.
3. ECU REALLY, REALLY sucks this year.
4. UNC is a different team on a sunny day. I know that the Hokies had to play in the rain also, but UNC guys got open, ball was just too wet. Also, one of the top RBs in the nation (Hood) never played.
This next game at the Carrier Dome will be a test. With this new media lovefest, a target is getting painted on the Hokies' backs. Also, anybody who's been paying attention since 1995 knows that the Carrier Dome was Pittsburgh before Pittsburgh was Pittsburgh.
I love how coach coach FU keeps saying were still not where we need to be.

Even if it's just one appearance in the top 8/4, that's the bar.
What are the chances of getting in the top 15?

# | Justin Fuente's Post-Game Speech Following Virginia Tech's 34-3 Thumping of North Carolina From what I have seen and read Fuente is all about TEAM, and it is pretty amazing how these guys seem to have fully bought into that, with the drawback of possibly less personal recognition. That's a huge change for almost all of those young guys, who were All-stars, the BMOC and lavished with praise in HS. Credit goes to the entire staff, including the S&C Coordinator.

I don't want to wish the season away, but boy am I'm excited for this game.
