Yup. Currently in India visiting grandparents. Cricket is huge here.
And I would be really, really happy if I had an undefeated conference record to celebrate that didn't happen in the same year we shit the bed against JMU.
I spent Sept 26th through October 4th down at Cape Lookout, North Carolina. If you want the most underrated fishery on the east coast with possibilities to catch albacore, spanish macks, big bluefish, redfish, flounder, trout, sharks, grouper, jacks, tarpon, king mackerel and more all on light tackle and fly, along with the coolest lighthouse, wild horses and great sunsets, then do not go here. The place sucks.
We had an up and down trip with family/friends/clients. Put over 400 miles on the boat fishing and cruising for fish. Wednesday was the best day by far, over 50 spanish macks landed up to 31 inches. Very few under 20 inches. Dozens and dozens of blues from 2-5 pounds.
We dodged storms the rest of the week and got a few albies on fly, and some nice trout up to 23" on spin and fly. No redfish this year, did hook a couple of big sharks that made quick work of the fish on the line and then our leaders.

Not saying that Fuente is ANYTHING like CPJ, but I am not a believer in ridiculously long and premature contracts. I know, 20 years was exaggerating but let's a least wait until year 2 to talk extension.
Of course, IF he takes us to the National Championship, we should talk deal.

Good recruiter, terrible OC. Probably just a terrible play caller, he had all the right plays just didn't understand game planning and sequencing.

I agree with this. It was genius to get these guys to remember what it was like as a kid to go out and play in the slop and have fun. Something about finding and setting just the right tone for the situation. I got the feeling the whole game that the Hokies were not bothered by the weather at all, in fact seemed to be enjoying it. UNC not so much. This is great coaching, it's more than Xs and Os, although they seem pretty good at that too.
From the way that I read it, they don't use differential. They use scoring. VT scored 34, but unc averages almost 32 puts/fm allowed.

# | Justin Fuente's Post-Game Speech Following Virginia Tech's 34-3 Thumping of North Carolina Hell, let's just make a Hokie Mount Rushmore. Frank, Bud, MV7, Bruce, ...let's give Fuente a little bit more than 5 games. Who do y'all think should be there?
The defense. They are laying the wood. They look so much more fired up and like they are having fun again, something I had not seen much the past 4 years or so. I thought we would have huge questions in the secondary and Stroman and Mook have been great surprises. Bud looks rejuvenated and back to his old self.
Cannot wait for the Miami game! It's been awhile since a Thursday night showdown meant so much
I can't really give Loeffler a ton of credit for recruiting most of those guys. He was not responsible for the vast majority of our 2014 and 2015 offensive recruits. Andrew Ford and Dwayne Lawson are gone, and Chris Durkin is now a TE. I will give him credit for Josh Jackson, though, who seems like he's going to be a very good QB. His scheme and concepts were far more advanced than Stinespring, but the scheme wasn't very effective most of the time.
