Stoked AND soaked? Usually makes for lots of smoke.
...and time for a break.
While I certainly agree with your take, it is bound to be tough for die hard football fans to have their game just up and disappear on them at the last minute. Kinda like taking three viagra for the big date and having her cancel on you a half hour before the big moment. Then you have to explain to everyone the next day why your arm's in a sling.
Funny they talked us up then picked UNC; Des talked up UNC then appeared to give the edge to VT.
Supports shootout.
Totally stoked! Its been a heavy downpour all morning here and I'm prepared to be soaked. GO HOKIES!
Thanks. Just trying to keep the kids and wife happy right now.
Rainwater
Stay safe, Fireman.
What's everyone drinking?
And it looks like we might lose power anytime, keeps going on and off.
I was wondering about this...the snap chats have shown them wearing the black helmets the last few practices.

That's not how any of this works!
We gonna kill em! Go Hokies!
I live in SC and had to evacuate so considering my girlfriend and I had tickets to UNC we came up to Durham a few days early. So far I've heard that my mom's house has some roof damage and still waiting to hear on my girlfriends house. Big thing is that everyone evacuated like we were told. Bout to head to Chapel Hill and hope the Hokies and give me a break from reality for a bit.
Everybody at the game, stay safe, drive carefully, and go Hokies.
I was answering HGoldman's question about which game the 2011 Miami game was.
Think it was actually the 09 Miami game where everybody was claiming the U was back and the rest is history.
I recall the LT game being a perfectly sunny game.
That was a good ending but a crazy stressful game
Des always seems to lean towards the good guys.
Gameday crew talking good about VT. Herby and Corso pick UNC, Rece picked VT, but everyone is predicting a shootout. I couldn't tell if Desmond actually made a pick, but he called it a sneaky good game.
The passing game always suffers in conditions like these, but people usually overlook the fact that both sides are usually affected. DBs/LBs have to react in a split second, and with a wet field, that can definitely lead to a lot missed tackles because defensive players are sliding around.
Tons of late money coming in on the Hokies. VT's now a 1- to 2-point favorite.
The team that runs better today wins. Downfield passing will be difficult in the wind and rain. Crisp route running is going to be tough on a wet surface unless the field drains extremely well, but we know how good Worsham Field is, and in heavy rain there are even issues there.

WOOOO! MAROON PANTS!!!!!!!!
