Things I don't care about: Virginia Tech being ranked. Who cares? Just keep kicking ass on gamedays.— THE KEY PLAY (@thekeyplay) September 25, 2016
This is true. We have blow out wins, but haven't beaten anyone of note yet. If this same trajectory had happened in 2012 or 2013, we'd be ranked. The last few years have put us in a hole in terms of perception (and probably rightfully so). Winning vs UNC, Pitt and Miami can help correct that
One smacked my girlfriend in the back of the head. The students who decided to make them were either not engineers (or have no concept of physics) or were overly cocky aerospace majors thinking they could do it. The cards didn't lend themselves to providing enough lift for the mass.
Well they're 4-0 and beat a Cal team that beat a supposedly good Texas team. So, that's why
If the G5 becomes G4, then the Big 12 would stay secure as the P5 becomes P6. Unless they get bounced by 2 G5 conferences.
It's a nice luxury to have.
Let it go man. Green just isn't your color. The more UT wins, the higher VT's stock goes and vice versa. Our differences have been setled. It's mutually beneficial for both of us to win from here on out.
Can confirm from multiple #sources, Big Timmy loves him some pancakes.
If you take your card to any kroger, you can get a free 2L of coke
Bottom line, keep winning. Nothing matters if we lose 3 or 4 more games. Given that we don't play next week, if we beat UNC then we will probably be ranked. But again, if we beat UNC and Cuse just to lose to Pitt and Miami, then it doesn't really matter.

# | Ask TKP: A Quarter of the way through the 2016 season, have your expectations changed? While I think that we can win 10 or 11, in the reg season, I would be perfectly happy with an 8 or 9 W season (unless losing to LOLUVA made it a 9 W season). That opinion may change after we play UNC and Miami, but at this point, I'm doing my best to temper my expectations and 8-9 would be a serious improvement, esp with our OOC this year.

# | Ask TKP: A Quarter of the way through the 2016 season, have your expectations changed? I've been watching college football for a lot of years. I have a rather strong opinion that the prior week opponent can make a HUGE difference in what kind of game you get from a team. We also get Miami and UNC after they each plays FSU, so they'll be coming off a very physical game. Pitt gets 11 days to prepare and we're at their place, so it will be tougher.
We get UNC after a bye week and Miami after playing Syracuse. I'm not saying they are guaranteed W's, but I think out schedule sets up well.
This is a great question and one I've wondered myself. How will Fuente do with a new OC if/when Corn goes elsewhere? I like Wiggins would be next in line.

Just bought 13 tickets. We're bringing the noise in Section 202.
Worth noting: VT is ranked 14th in overall S&P+, and ranked 10th if you remove preseason predictors.
The funny thing is that guy from last week was a BC writer. Not even our own Mike Barber had faith in us then :(
And...SAN Diego St is 19 why????
The way I see it is that it's Fuente's scheme and, if he needed to, he could call the plays. He just happens to have a guy in Cornelson he trusts to take that facet for him. We can cross that bridge if and when we get to it.
I think it's fantastic that only 4 games we can create a 5 minute video of mostly touchdown highlights.
You're right. The better Tennessee plays, the "better" that loss looks. All in all, I don't care about rankings right now. I want to see progress (so far we have). Regardless, we show up and beat UNC and we are for sure ranked. One game at a time.
Yep, only mistake was not firing Miles last year. Cameron is awful.

The best part of being ranked 14th in S&P, is that Tennessee is ranked 15th.
