The Liberty game was of no benefit to VT. We never got beyond page 2 of the playbook. Tenn. was a wake up call. See what happens when you don't practice well, you don't execute as well. BC is better than they showed on this past Saturday, the wheels just fell off early, but when you practice well, you execute well, lesson learned. VT beats ECU by 3 touchdowns because VT learned from their TEnn. mistakes. ECU says they no longer want to play us because it is no longer fun.

He runs into his defender which creates space for Sam to catch the touchdown. The only way it is legal to run into a defender is if you are making an "attempt" to get out of the way. Deablo turns back to the endzone so that when he is contacting the defender, he isnt just blocking him.

And I think Fuente knows the fans are with him as the coach and Frank as the old sage of the program. I know it's been said before , but what a great job by Whit and both men to make it as smooth as possible.

I have really been wanting to take advantage of the September bite on the New, but the water is really low. I have a 14' raft and I am not sure where I can float with the levels just under 3ft at Glen Lyn and 2ft in Radford. Was hoping the last rains would get the river up a little, but it doesn't look like it.
Any suggestions?
And if anyone would like to float in the NRV just let me know - I need a third person every now and again!
Also, back in more intrepid days, I'd wade out to that first sandbar at dead low tide and fish the outside, but I was pretty nutsoid about it and ruined a few reels that way.
I did that a lot in CFL. Sometimes at dead low tide walking on coquina reef. Usually in my baggies with a pocket full of sand fleas, dropping them into reef holes. Slammed the sheephead and black drum that way. Was a blast!

Randall. I know he had his limitations, but he was all heart and left it on the field every game. Never complained about platooning with Vick Jr and was just a consummate lead-by-example guy.
True, but if Clemson lives up to billing and makes it to the playoff, he'll be the best player on one of the best teams in the country, which is usually enough to get you to NY at least
FWIW, he is a dark horse to creep into my top 3 all time QBs at VT: (Vick, Tyrod)

Despite what the maps say, have no doubt that both Carolinas East of I-95 (outside of the tourist areas) is a COMPLETELY different country than the normal areas.
The best way to beat ECU is to keep the offense on the sidelines. We have the talent and the scheme to do just that. How many 1st downs have we had this year? I bet we didn't have this many by week 7 last year or the year before!!!!
