I have been a big proponent of short shank circle hooks. I plan to use 1/0, 2/0 and maybe 3/0 for bigger bottom sets. Do these seem good sizes for NC surf?

even if they leave, it's not like we are searching around for answers to replace them like we have been in the past. I think Evan's will have plenty of targets to throw too. But in my honest opinion I don't expect Evan's to be the starter anyway. Joshua Jackson will only get better and he was already in the running at the beginning of the season. It's a good problem to have.

So far Watson being a lock is totally based on last year and assuming he picks up the pace. That offense has been less than stellar all year and it starts with him.

Update: They have managed to fix the leak and the main gas line is going back online tomorrow. By the weekend, the whole mess with dry pumps should be over, but the price hikes will likely take significantly longer to return to where they were (some economists were predicting it to take a month or longer for them to fall back to where they were).
