I am actually hoping to have a year where we don't have to bank on Miami/Pitt/GT/UNC dropping a game they shouldn't to have a chance at winning the coastal. I rather like the sound of 8-0 in conference...
wow, oklahoma is keeping some really bad company these days...
I wonder if LOLUVA has a giant clock counting the days Bronco Medenhall win his first game?
I am actually hoping the beat Miami, Pitt, GT, UNC. #wishful thinking!
Koastal is setting the fan bar high.
He's DREAMING VT football.

This write ups and all the other content we have here on TKP is great isn't it. I only wish more people wanted to keep it around by joining the Key Players Club. They could join us in there anytime, https://www.thekeyplay.com/the-key-players-club
The first time he did it, I was like: we finally got a lucky fade pass that landed where it was supposed to. I'm so used to seeing those passes go out of the endzone, or be too short.
Then he did it more. And more.
Dude has touch, no doubt about it.
Me too
Thanks French! Always enjoy these write-ups......More please!
You know what would be fun?
Jerod heads left, ball snaps right to T-Mac.
That would be fun.
Being ECU it will probably be a tough game, but I hope we Beat the Piss out of them like 63-3

# | Vintage Virginia Tech Performance Exorcises Demons in Win Against Boston College Nope. I just have a good long term memory.
I'ma go ahead and say it: our biggest win in recent history was a great example of scheme and coaching overcoming talent. anOSU clearly had the talent to walk all over everyone else in the country in 2014 and our coaches, Foster in particular, out-schemed the hell out of Meyer. Our players executed and played with incredible grit, but put anyone else at the helm and we're looking at a loss there.
I was amazed by that number, and then also amazed that ECU lost...by only scoring 15 points. Definitely corroborates the aforementioned "dink and dunk" method.
ooooohhhh, now I get it.

For sure, Ford is gonna believe that it was 100% on him. And I hope that Evans feels that it was 100% on him!
That's how teams improve and it seems like we are really taking that to heart, seeing as we have actively improved on the things that hampered us in the first couple games.

Great, cool, two examples from the past...16 years? The point is that college football is won by so many factors. Talent might not even be the most important one either. We have lost to so many teams that are less talented than us in teh past.
They've moved up.
Or is that down?
Hoo knows? On that list, up is down and down is up, and some poor idiot caused the other team to kick off from 20 yards away from the goal line.
I think we had the benefit of going against a guy we worked with for the last 3 years when we played BC this past weekend. I think this weekend week will be a true test of our defense
It's funny. I remember his freshman year when he became sort of the fan favorite due to his walk-on status and all of us wanted him to get a TD so badly. He came so close a few times but could never quite get there. Now he simply can't be denied!
