Ethanol vs Gasoline:

Gasoline is more "energy dense" than ethanol. This means that the higher the ethanol concentration, the lower the gas mileage. If the price is close, you should go with the pure gas. With the 10% ethanol gas that you get at most gas stations, the difference isn't as noticeable, but when you move up to E85 (15% methanol) your mileage goes to shit.

As for the water/corrosion issue, this is definitely something to worry about only if you are running an older car, lawnmower, marine motor, etc because the older fuel lines and fuel injectors were not designed to come in contact with a lot of water so corrosion and damage are definitely possible. More modern equipment is designed to withstand ethanol and water so you don't have to worry about potential corrosion. Having said that, in colder climates obviously large amounts of water can accumulate in unfortunate places within the system and cause damage due to expansion when it freezes, but you would need to get a lot of water in there.

I am excited for this game for the following reasons:

1. We are not physically beat up on either side of the ball like last 2 years.

2. Ford
3. Faycson
4. We have a system on O and a coaching staff that is hungry to prove we are not a one hit wonder.

We are going to win by 17.

ECU dinks and dunks down the field, completing short passes in an effort to keep pressure off the QB and get athletes in space one-on-one. It's GT's Death By a Thousand Cuts: Passing Eddition. If the defense can't make tackles in space and force a few key incompletions, this one could be plenty frustrating and painful.

ECU last won primarily from winning 50/50 jump balls like 90 pct of the time. Torian is the man, but with the technique he preferred depended at least a bit on pressure getting to the QB.

This year we have more eyes on the football, and more pressure on the QB.

If we get beat, I don't think it will be as painful as seeing endless third and long conversions.

I hope.

French - Fuente was extremely forthcoming in Tech Talk Live last night as for how he beat BC's press man coverage. As a specific example, on the McMillian TD pass, he cited how he lined up a TE at left tackle and and slid the LT over to RT....essentially causing one of the safeties to cover an ineligible LT.

WTF? Is this brilliant? My head is exploding.

I am very optimistic about this game. I think our offense is a machine and because we can score points our defense can pin its ears back and attack unlike years before when we had to play defense to secure wins.
