The Longest Silence by Thomas McGuane
The Habit of Rivers by Ted Leeson

And the obvious answers :

A River Runs Through It (Maclean)
The Old Man And The Sea (Hemingway)

This is a great topic. I selfishly await additional responses.

Steve Addazio still doesn't like the community guidelines, and thinks this is a dumb rule:

From 2006-2012, we had SIX games where quarterbacks ran for >100 yards. We were 5-1 (.833)
Our overall W/L in this time frame was 70-25 (.739)

From 2013-today, we had TEN games where quarterbacks ran for >100 yards. We were 1-9 (.100)
Our overall W/L in this time frame was 23-18 (.561)

EDIT: changes in italics, 2 more games I found where tandem QBs teamed up for >100 yards
