Steve Addazio orders the grilled cheese meal from Blue Apron.
The Hokies are 2-10 at Lane Stadium since 2013 against P5 teams.
ouch...I didn't realize it was that bad :(
No, I make a mayo with that much garlic.
rabble, rabble, stats, 4-3, pass pro, outside leverage, spread, scheme, blah, blah, blah...
The Hokies are 2-10 at Lane Stadium since 2013 against P5 teams. (You know, teams that aren't named Liberty or Furman.) We can go on all day about predictions, projections, depth charts, and practice woes, but the bottom line is this Saturday, it's time for this team to strap up, get mad, and turn that shit around.
ACC Championships, bowl games, and national recognition would be nice, but right now I just want opposing teams to feel like the luckiest motherfuckers going that they got out of Lane Stadium alive.
I posted something in the last game thread on how I felt that our tackling techniques have not been the greatest for a number of years.
Worked two summers in a pickle plant in Norfolk making Fanning's Bread and Butter pickles. To this day, the smell of a sliced cucumber makes me pucker up and back off. I enjoy dill pickles, but any sweet pickle at all is too much of a reminder of those days in that ridiculous place.
I don't know about you guys but I'm super confident for Saturday. I mean, we've won 100% of our ACC games so far and they've lost 100% of theirs. No chance we drop this one. It's science.
Goodness man, thats harsh, what about pickles?!?!
Vice on the penalties "I ran him for one of them." Bet it was the screen.
That answers the question about Trevon Hill and the QB read. Sorry Tremaine!
Oh man, I agree with so much of this.
I think our ineptitude at playing effective defense against a mobile QB is the BIGGEST issue with our team. For whatever reason Bud cannot seem to get his mind around this. Either our players for years and years simply have not executed AT ALL correctly, or this is a very wide open chink in our armor.
For any stats minded guys I would be interested in seeing what our win - loss record is against QBs that have run at least 100 yards against us.
there should be plenty around to fill the cooler. you can never go wrong with bloodworm fishbites on a bottom rig with tiny hooks, and some Gulp minnows on jigs for trout and puppy drum. There are a ton of under-slot puppy drum around right now.
Leg stripes. We gotta get us some of those leg stripes.
Yes, and spell Bucky. I'd also like to see more Henri Murphy (jet sweeps and quick outs) and Devine Deablo (damn good blocker) on run downs. I am sorry folks, Carroll has had some opportunities to make plays and it just isn't happening.
I had no idea this would be such a scorcher!
If anyone thinks the NCAA made this move because of their "commitment to fairness and inclusion" then I have a friend from Nigeria I want them to talk to.
The NCAA wants a stable platform on which to operate economically. That's it. That's the reason. Money.
They are not the first and will not be the last economic enterprise to exert their will to maintain the economic status quo that they want. For the NCAA that is a platform in which they do not need to worry about if fans, teams, universities, sponsors, celebrities, athletes or even other States refuse to do business with.
If the NCAA had a championship there and every sponsor pulled out, or heck even if 1 major sponsor pulled out they would be paying out the ass for it themselves. This is business 101. Don't do that.
I think everyone on here is letting their personal bias run their opinions on the motivation afoul. This, like most things, is about money. Take a step back and redirect the conversation to what it should be, which should start with a headline like this:
"The NCAA has just used a political mask to hide a major money leverage, if they pull all economics from NC then where should they redirect that money to and what market is going to be best to serve their return structure?"
this is the CORRECT question to ask.
He doesn't look that big. I bet our guys could knock him clear outta the game.
Steve Addazio double dips
I've never been to Indiana, but it never jumps out as a hub of good barbecue when I picture it.
I thought this was the hatin' on thread not the "He's absolutely right" thread.
Steve Addazio cross threads everything he touches.
