I remember waiting for someone on the Hokies sideline to get hyped or try and get into someone's face or something. Little emotion from what I could tell. Seemed a lot of guys tucked tail and hid. This was made even worse by the fact that they kept talking about the Vols third string QB and how he was impacting the game.
Definitely a concern.

These next two games are extremely important to see how we respond and if we in fact have passionate tenacity to go beat another team into submission and play with that chip on our shoulder. I want to say we have it, still, but only by playing will we see if that heart is there and Fuente truly has instilled new fire into the football program.

# | Slept On It: Hokies Open Strong, Limp Home After Frustrating Battle at Bristol As I was walking back to my tailgate, I heard a VT fan say that if we had Frank we would have won, and everyone she was with nodded and moaned in agreement.
I have a feeling the result would have been similar. Defense would have been the same, the O wouldn't have put up as many points or as much production, wouldn't have turned the ball over. So the result may have been a closer game, but we'd be just as disappointed after losing by 10 or 13 pts instead of 21. But I can guarantee we wouldn't be as excited about the potential of our O.
Wish VA/OH/SC had even something close to that system. Here in MB area state lab is so backed up local Techinal college/community college is doing some lab work on fingerprints, footprint impressions etc for local police depts.
I disagree. A cease and desist order could be sent out, but the athletic department could credibly say they couldn't read it.
Fuente talked about the playing time card, could McClease fit in more in the scheme if Cam needs some quiet time to get his thoughts about ball security straight?
I know I'm crazy guys, but the sheer lack of offensive competence from a scheme/ planning point of view has me staring at the competence we've seen so far this year like, "We look like Chad Morris' first year at Clemson." And French making me feel like I'm seeing it all...wow we could be special again. Power teams are gonna give us fits, fix the blocking, fumbles (selfishness), and effort (selfishness), and we really could be something. Then again, Loeffler's system just needed him to prep his teams and play-call coherently to be special.
When I was in NYC I worked for the NYC Medical Examiners Office. They do they DNA testing for the criminal cases in NYC. They have an amazing facility and awesome staff.

Then I discovered NoVA, VABeach and Richmond felt VA was not specific enough to properly define their heritage. Apparently I grew up in the mountains. We were closer to WV that TN, which was worse at the time. Never thought to split south mountains from north.

To become nationally relevant, we would have to win ACCCG and/or play in a top 25 bowl game, and then repeat that in some form or fashion.
My comments were not at this case. More like a "in general" like with my post about common sexual assault questions for victims. I've found many people jump right to the "rape kit solves it" line. Do you work for NYC lab? NYPD is a leader in sexual assault work.
NCAA won't look into this but will go against the state of NC as a whole because of political reasons.

Not to mention that the rape kit backlog isn't just there because authorities don't think it matters or completely funding related. Many of the kits aren't tested because of many other reasons. The kits only prove sex occurred. If the accused admits to sex, but the discrepancy is if the sex was consensual it's useless to the case and doesn't get priority. The same happens for those that take plea deals or where the victim doesn't want to go through trial.
