Yep. The O looked very Loeffler. Tons of motion and alignment for minimal return. It seemed to cause some inconsistency. Georgia Tech was very vulnerable on D but BC couldn't cash in despite looking like adults playing kids.

Anyone know how the fishing is in the OBX late April/early May??
How warm is it usually?? I have been going in Sept but changing it
up a bit next year.

which is why I brought up who is in the White House come January. The administration is choosing to pursue this because they interpret the law a certain way. Another administration might not interpret it the same way.

Last year, big red drum were everywhere. I have not fished down there much in the fall. I do know that they have a king mackerel tournament on the pier right around that time, but I have not fished it.

But the administration argues that HB2 violates the Civil Rights Act and Title IX:

http://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/politics-government/article7560191...

The letter says HB2, which pre-empted Charlotte's anti-discrimination ordinance, violates Title IX, which bars discrimination in education based on sex, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which bans employment discrimination.

If the finding is upheld, North Carolina could lose federal education funding. During the current school year, state public schools received $861 million. In 2014-2015, the University of North Carolina system got $1.4 billion.

This is what I was thinking of. But, I guess until a court actually settles that particular issue, it's an executive policy/interpretation issue rather than a "federal vs. state law" as I was thinking of it. Is that more accurate?

Tell him to come to my house in southeast PA where I could walk out my front door most evenings and throw a rock at one.

French, or anyone else with knowledge on the subject, I'm going to Emerald Isle the 2nd week in October. We have always went the tail end of May or early June, going to be doing. A lot of surf fishing and hit the piers a little. What should I look forward too?

Steve Addazio believes the Sand Snakes deserve their own spin-off.

Objectively speaking on the issue:

As of yet, there is no actual Federal law at odds with HB2. Congress has not passed anything, and the Federal Court system will have it first hearing in November. The Obama administration, and thus the executive agencies, are at odds with the law and could revoke funding (e.g. from the DOE), but there is no law to support revokation. It would be a bold move, because the administration would only rely on policy grounds for this move. Previous funding revocation for civil rights were based on long-standing law, well after major Supreme Ct decisions (e.g. Brown v. Brd of Ed.).

Yep, 6 of these anchor games is suicide. And since the head coach makes out the schedule in college basketball, it's on Buzz.

Basically, for every 300+ game you win, you need to win a top 20 game to even it out. Luckily we could be playing 5-8 games against top 20 competition in the ACC, but we need to win a lot of them. That Duke game at home over break is really important. As is UVA at home. Syracuse is at home but they will probably be outside the top 20 in RPI (Boeheim notoriously schedules for wins). Louisville, UVA and UNC are top 20 games on the road. Need to beat aTm so we can get a shot at UCLA (fringe top 20 team). Need to root for Miami, who we have at home who is probably top 40.

Okay that makes sense now that I read it again. I'd like to go, but I was really unimpressed the one time I went to FedEx and stories of WVU fans make it even less appealing

Yeah, very impressive in Dublin. Big DL with good mobility. Tackling machine LB's. DB's didn't impress that much, but as you said, they'll play us in a shell and dare us to run the ball on the front 7.

I would like to see some tempo, see if we can get that big DL huffing/puffing some.

that made me cry. That's my ideal punting scenario, assuming we recover, but NOOOOOO we have to let them recover what is essentially a muffed punt after it's bounced back hard toward our LOS.

That's because it literally was a Cinci home game that Dan Snyder bought. It was the back half of a home and home we had with them, I think in 2006.

Oh I meant forget ME going to FedEx field ever again for a hokie game (though who knows, I still may end up there for WVU)

Yes. It hadn't really registered to me that it was next year until my WVU fan in-laws (my wife's siblings all went to WVU) informed me that we were all going. Dealing with WVU fans AND playing at FedEx is like a special kind of Hokie hell.
