im actually kind of excited that duke is over break i can make it! sucks for the students though I really feel for them, especially now that we're relevant
I absolutely could not get over the obvious lack of experience or care from the camera person. Whoever produced the footage (picked which camera to show on the screen) was usually showing worthless angles like the ground or zooming in on nothing. They typically showed UT fans and the UT sidelines and ignored us for most of the second half. I understand we didn't score but how they treated UT scores was more than they did for us. Felt like the Alabama/VT game at the Georgia Dome where they only showed Alabama fans. Hands down felt like a UT home game and you could tell when they cut-off the fumble out of bounds replay just as the players were going out of bounds.

Positive: Made some awesome new Hokie friends tailgating.
Negative: The blatant UT homerism of everyone running the show at the game.
If ball security were priority number 1, wouldn't Motley be in the game?
Of all the military appreciation stuff done at the game, there was not one mention of us bringing the corps with us. Just adds fuel to the fire of the UT homerism.

New threads create new conversation. This isnt a big enough forum that dozens of new threads are made each day. Only a handful appear, and that's with threads that some deem unworthy. It keeps things interesting. Less conversation would be made if it were all conglomerates in a few threads.
Thinking NYE in Blacksburg may be on the docket for me this season. Would love to make it to that Duke game.

Why we always get one big game at least during winter break is frustrating to no end. I don't seem to remember getting any road games at Duke/UNC during winter break like that. Not that it matters for them since they'll put butts in seats regardless. But I hate that it'll be yet another big game without the student section lit up making it hard to play.
Maybe you just need to re-#$!@ us and apply some oink mint.
Haha... oh I would not be one to participate, but I would thoroughly enjoy seeing some kids try! Or these days watching it come through on some snapchat

I would say fumbling the ball is too much.
Better than waiting for someone to ask a silly question like, "are you satisfied with how the team is protecting the ball?"
Fuente & co. should do the following:
1) Make the entire team walk around campus with a football all week (ie high school babysitting egg style). And see #2 rules
2) Mass email to student body saying that if/when you see football players with said footballs please try to knock out of hands / steal. Rule = football players shall not "crush" you for doing so :-P
3) If student shows up with football(s) at location X on Friday = some sort of ticket prize
4) If player returns without a football = some sort of punishment (ie sprints)
Tongue & cheek... yes... but I can deal with everything else... 9 fumbles. Nope!
McMillan is A possibility but only because of how well I think shai is playing. I highly doubt Phillips sees less snaps. IMO hes always been fumble prone but he is our 2nd best WR and if it was close we would have already seen other guys on the field not because of fumbles but to get cam a rest.
