I think McMillian may get more carries and will produce more yards, but Sam will be on the field for more plays and I think that's how Fuente sees the depth chart.

Not surprised by Cunningham being the top guy at HBack/Tight End. If he can block, he fits the mold the best. Durkin could also be an impact guy at that spot, but those hernia injuries are tricky and it is impossible to know how far along he is in recovery. I am stunned that Peoples wasn't listed as the 2.
I have said my piece about Teller. On tape, best guy period. I am not in a position to speculate why he isn't playing. The same thing about McMillan, although given the way that Fuente used tailbacks at Memphis I wouldn't be shocked if both guys are not on the field a bunch.

Friend of mine was given a ticket once that he fought using Physics. Driving a manual, he pulled up to a stop sign, proceeded to roll back slightly and then moved on. The officer pulled him over and wrote on the ticket "Did not come to a complete stop. Approached sign, rolled backwards, and then drove off." Needless to say, the judge threw the ticket out.

I'm wondering if it's a function of offensive style. Rogers is more of an H-back, and given some of the things he's said, it's more of a "I'm a Swiss army knife kind of player." There's no slot there for that position, so I wonder if it's more an observation that Sam is more integral to the offense than anything else. Travon may be the top RB, but Sam might get the ball in a greater variety of ways.

I get annoyed with rampant cheating (UNC), pay-offs (Ole Miss), and holier than thou bullshit (ND) in college athletics. However, I accept these as unfortunate side effects of the flawed system surrounding the sport I love. PSU under Paterno is another matter all together. That program should have been burned to the ground and the earth salted in Happy Valley. Sorry Penn Staters - I know it can be painful when a long-loved idol falls from grace.

Well, time to take a deep breath, wait and see. Believe French covered some of the change in roles the HCF requires of his backs vs. traditional. Seemed like H-Back took a very expansive (with blocking being very important) and pivotal role in the offense that was far more than take the ball and run for daylight. Under those circumstances, SMFR may be the better fit. Regardless, am confident that HCF will find ways to get the ball to his playmakers. No clue on Wyatt, though. Deep breath.
My wife is Chinese. She is from Nanjing but we met in Guangzhou while she was in her last year of university. We got married in Nanjing and then moved to Shanghai to further our careers. She works for Activision at the moment, and loves Shanghai except for the pollution. Working for Activision though allows here to go to LA at least once a year, and she loves the Santa Monica area and would love to move there.

A friend of mine got a speeding ticket in Albemarle and it was one of the most ridiculous experiences. Sure, he deserved the ticket (he was actually speeding by a lot), but the officer wrote it (1) with an incorrect name which was actually his father's name, (2) incorrect physical description, i.e. could not copy the info off his license, and (3) I believe dated it for the wrong day. He showed me the ticket and I'm like, "man, fight the ticket - he charged your dad with speeding in the future!" He didn't want to bother, but I thought that would have been sort of funny to pull the officer into court and list all the reasons why the ticket was invalid (presumably, I'm not a lawyer).

I was always fascinated with Asia and Australia growing up. I had originally thought to make my way through Europe to Asia but ended up heading there first and stayed. I was living in Australia when I decided to move to China, which was for work. After I finished my masters in Sydney I had the opportunity to go with my professor and work on the pre-planning for the World Expo in Shanghai. It was my first time to China and I was amazed at how much was happening.
I returned to Australia with the idea to get a job with a design firm there to do "China Projects". basically they all laughed and gave me the "maybe some day kid" because I was young and China projects were a reward for Senior Designers to do crazy shit that they wouldn't normally be able to do. So I changed tactics and looked for jobs in Hong Kong. That day I was in an internet bar searching, found a wanted ad, sent my CV and was called the next day. I went through a phone interview and was told that they would send a friend, and architect, in Sydney to interview me face to face.
Then they called the next day and said they needed someone immediately, and if I was game they would buy me a ticket to Nanjing the very next day. I said "Fuck Yeah!", no I actually said "Sure, I can do that". The directors of the company hiring me however were leaving that very night to go to a Board Meeting in London and so would not meet me before I go to Nanjing. So I was hired sight unseen, and placed into a joint venture office in Nanjing China with a local engineering company. I arrived to Nanjing to 2 Chinese who spoke almost no English with a sign that had my name. They took me to the hotel and picked me up the next morning.
I started the design studio in that local company with one full time staff and one part time graduate student, both local Chinese that also spoke limited English. I lived in the hotel for 6 months, working on a month to month trial contract, until making it permanent. In 2 years I built it from those 2 up to 65 people.
I have no plans to permanently stay or not stay. However I am currently starting on projects that will have me spending a lot more time in USA, the Middle East, Russia and China. So I will be traveling a lot and my family will likely split time 6 months in China and 6 months in USA.
China is vastly different from when I first arrived, and Shanghai/Beijing are vastly different than all other cities. You could live in Shanghai and have almost no interaction with Chinese whatsoever if you wanted. Both cities are extremely cosmopolitan. But the words I would use is EXPENSIVE and SAFE. Everything costs 40% more if you want to do thing "foreign" and you basically are paying for college tuition from 1rst grade on. It's absurd. But China is without a doubt the safest place I have ever lived or visited, and that gives a lot of comfort.
