Yeah, Beamer always started the seniors no matter what. Except for Ford, Phillips, Rodgers, Bucky, Teller, Glock and other examples from this nearly identical team.
What's fascinating is that the game is a nooner for those watching in person. Cal fans at home get a prime time game, while the Hawaii fans at home will be catching it d during rush hour and dinner. For most of us, it's a 10 pm night cap on Friday.
yeah that's strange...didn't they have a really good running back a while back?

What are the most important programs in the history of college football?
It's a thorny, fun, fascinating question that we posed to 12 of our writers. We asked them to rate every current FBS program on a scale of 1-10, based on each school's overall impact on the history of college football.
The rankings below list the school, then their average score. The top five finished with unanimous 10 scores, and we rounded up from 9.5 for those that just missed a perfect score.
The end result? Eight schools qualify for what we're calling blue bloods -- the royalty of the game.
Not sure how Arkansas is above teams who have won or played for a National Championship.
Technically, they play on Saturday in Australia. We just see it on Friday.
Right that's what I'm saying. It's interesting that a decision hasn't been made. Almost as if if Evans goes down Jackson is in instead of Motley.
No word on the backup. Fuente not committing to redshirting Jackson at this point. #Hokiesโ Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) August 25, 2016
Not at all. The decision to redshirt anyone hasn't taken place, or been made public for that matter. I'll go ahead and say travelling-RS for Jackson.
So anyone else find it very interesting that a decision to redshirt Jackson has not taken place yet?
Right on, let's win some football games.
Holy shit it's game week

Dude, Donovan is Scottish
Dare I say it? He went with Jerod...
I like this. Namely because we have 3 guys that were "in it" for spring, summer and most of fall camp. Now that it's Game Week though (HALLELUJAH!!!) the named starter can get good reps and mental preparation knowing he's going to have the first snap of the season in his hands for the Hokies.
Congratulations to Jerod and I hope the others are ready to step in.
Thanks for the backup guys lol
Whenever I think of Australia I think of massive spiders

Stranger things have happened

This is the only one of these so far that I have found funny. Have a leg
Unwritten Regs of the VTCC: Rats will at all times, figure out ways to circumvent, but not actually violate the Regs.
Rats will be punished regardless of whether they are technically correct or not. LOL
Teller? I barely know 'er!
It doesn't matter what the ACC does, we could roll off 4 straight National Championships, it doesn't fucking matter.
It does to our revenue generation and our bragging rights and...wait, is there something else? This anti-Clemson notion is...not making a whole lot of sense to me. In my experience, don't hate on your conference teams. Do I hate Pitt? Yeah. DO I LIVE A HUNDRED YARDS FROM PENN STATE'S CAMPUS?!? Also yeah. Who am I rooting for when they play against each other this year? Pitt. #goACC.
I have friends who went to Pitt. Syracuse. LOLUVA. UNC, Wake, Duke. I root for their teams when it isn't a conflict of interest for me (VT, ND, or a game that is in our best interest if they lose). A little class towards your conference foes goes a long way.
I don't care as much about respect because you can never expect anyone to give you respect for anything, even if you deserve it. I care more about winning and then telling people who don't have respect to go f@ck themselves. Hell, I'd root for Miami or UNC or EVEN PITT if it won us more money, prestige, opportunities to go to the ACCCG or playoff.
If the ACC won four NC's in a row, I think the narrative would change. But I care much less about the narrative than any solid quantitative gains the conference as a whole could make. A rising tide raises all boats.
Besides, the Big Ten and the SEC are going to have the television networks slobbering all over them no matter what happens. Why? It isn't because they win. It's because their fans drive revenue for television networks. We may never be able to match that, so if we can eke out a few NC's while we don't, then that's going to have to be good enough. I'd rather live in the world as it is instead of the world as I wish it to be.
Like OMG...jerod...u da Man

Maybe, but their description sounds more like the reason they'd be #65 and not #25.
