American Pie is overrated. He's just singing about musicians far better than he is.
Saying Van Halen (an extremely mainstream band that basically everyone likes) is better than Warrant (a hair band best known for one of their lesser works) tells you little about my taste, just that I have a pulse.
I dunno which HTs undermined the credibility of the rest of us when it comes to musical tastes (there's always a few in every class that like garbage like Katy Perry or Nickleback or pop country), but a large plurality of us have good taste, I swear.
I was hoping for Oak Lane trucks on weekend nights :(
i guess i went too far...but I agreed with you
Just come to the cowboys, bosa.
We want you.
How about the Cookie Monster award? #TeamCookies
like when something insidiously becomes a part of your life
Oh you mean like how you really like this online community of Hokie fans but it's run by a guy who has these really messed up ideas about dessert so even though it's a clearly inferior foodstuffs you still have to hear about cake all the time?
I got you
Jugs I'm not sure if you know this but we men, we are kind of stupid.
Edit: did I imagine that there were more comments after this and now they are gone?
I hope the number of Pick 6's we score goes up to "11"
Nice job with the superimposition (is that a word?). So, does anyone know where the "Allisons" section is in this picture? Thanks in advance!
Nevermind, I think I answered my own question, thanks to the Google machine.
Definitely reminds me of Danny Coale. And Wes Welker. And Kyle Korver.
What you will get are multiple emails before your anniversary date providing instructions on how to cancel your automatic payment. The goal is to be as upfront with folks as possible and provide multiple opportunities to cancel.
Another excuse to spam us with emails! /s

Plus you have to get him/her health insurance.
It's a recurring billing plan. It will auto-bill you again on your yearly anniversary date. It's noted on the payment form, and if you go to http://www.thekeyplay.com/the-key-players-club it will tell you that date.

It's okay, we will never make you do that again.

So I joined when this started (lucky #2). Will there be a reminder email to renew my donation?
4FSS, quit showing your * homerism, you started with the good guys!
This is my completely unbiased look at UVAs W/L outlook for 2016 (this is extremely difficult to do)
Richmond - UVa can and should win this game (1-0, 0-0)
Oregon - UVa is very unlikely to win this game (1-1, 0-0)
UConn - Toss up. UConn isn't very good. I'll give UVa benefit of doubt (call it Bronco effect) (2-1, 0-0)
Central Michigan - CMU is worse than UConn. (3-1, 0-0)
They have a manageable NonCon slate. Oregon is the only real doozy for them. They'll go into the Duke game super confident.
Duke - Having to replace a bunch of starters, this game will be close. Duke's experience pushes them over the edge. (3-2, 0-1)
Pitt - Pitt's O-line is going to maul UVa's front and Connor is going to hit mid-season form. (3-3, 0-2)
UNC - LOL (3-4, 0-3)
Louisville - Returns nearly all of their starters from an 8 win team. (3-5, 0-4)
Wake - Wake is awful. UVa should win this game. Should. (4-5, 1-4)
Miami - Miami is too talented for the hoos (4-6, 1-5)
GT - This is the toughest one to predict..mostly cuz of GT. I'll give UVa a chance due to their decent defense (5-6, 2-5)
VT - until proven otherwise (5-7, 2-6)
That is as realistic an outlook for UVa as you'll get from any Hokies fan. This was painful to do for me...
ESPN actually has a pretty good article up regarding this saga. It does a good job explaining both sides. The summary is (1) it's a bad look for the Chargers to divulge what they did today, (2) Bosa's requests weren't ridiculous, but the Charger's have reasonable arguments for saying no, (3) Bosa doesn't have much leverage, and (3) at the end of the day, this isn't a great start to a relationship that I'm sure the Charger's hope(d) would be fruitful for years to come.
I think his demands are quite reasonable
Who's acting entitled now! Bosa is being a diva. The NFL is a club and if you want to join you have to abide by the rules. The 2011 CBA obliterated the ridiculous contracts for draft picks in order to provide more cap space for proven free agents. I think it's a better system, more of the money goes to players who have proven their worth.
On the other side the NFL chews up players. Most first rounders get a 4 year guaranteed contract, so Bosa would be covered for 4 years. The down side is the 5th year team option that benefits the team more than they player. By year 5 a guy could be a multiple ProBowler at the top of the league and be getting a rookie deal paycheck. DeAndre Hopkins just got his 5th year picked up for about half of the price of Dez Bryant and Julio Jones. That is a steal for the Texans. I think if they dropped the 5th round option the system would be about right. If Bosa is holding out because of the 5th year option he is getting the cart before the horse and would fall back into idiot category.
Realistically I think their ceiling this year is 2 conference wins. They have zero offensive line.

Odd. I just had the issue where I got multiple invites and only one of the emails actually worked.
